Fantastic family day out staff are amazing friendly and so knowledgeable. It's completely free! Buses you can go inside. A tardis. Treasure hunt trail and toys games room. Homemade game to take home. Honestly this place is simply the best and indoors so good on wet day
Great museum with plenty of history.nnLoads to see including old buses which you can sit on and even enjoy a cuppa and snack on one that has been converted into a mini cafe .nnStaff are friendly and full of knowledge.nnThoroughly enjoyed the visit
A delightful place to visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of exhibits to look at and a couple of buses were open to get on and walk around.
A free to enter, volunteer-run, museum/garage. The volunteers greeted us on entry and one in particular gave us a comprehensive introduction on the history of the garage and also the oldest exhibit there, the horse and carriage. There are buses that you can get on and walk through, and a shop and cafe, at the end, with proceeds going back into the maintenance of the buses. We were happy to buy from here as it was well worth the visit. We spent maybe 1.5 hrs here, so a nice but short activity
Visited on a Sunday afternoon, the museum is situated near St.Johns station or a short walk from the town centre. Housed in the former bus depot itself there's an impressive collection of buses and coaches that used to work on the island. A cafe and shop selling all sorts of bus and transport related goodies help raise funds for the museum entry to which is free. A highly enjoyable and informative visit I would recommend to anyone interested in local transport.
