Will tell you they've extended your assisted collection to six months from three months, not collect you bin and then lie through their teeth and gaslight you by saying they never said that.nnWill not fully resolve a complaint or offer any acceptable solution and will let a disabled constituent have piles of rubbish in their house as they have no way to get to the refuse centre.nnWill also call you abusive for getting upset on the phone and being close to tears as you feel let down.nnIf you want gaslighting and poor customer service and shocking complaints handling. This is the council for you.
I’m deeply disappointed with the decision-making regarding the recent XTERRA event in Snowdonia. Holding a “world championship” trail run on a family-friendly path was clearly misguided and poorly considered. The lack of signage and marshals was dangerous—not only to runners but also to families, tourists international and local, and trail users. Parking was an absolute mess too, with exorbitant charges and shuttle drops located nearly a mile away. It was completely unacceptable for a public space managed by the Council.nnI urge Isle of Anglesey County Council to reconsider approving events like this in future, to protect the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, especially families. Clean-up protocols, clear access plans, and sensible venue choices must be enforced. This was a major oversight on your part.
Very unhelpful, our black bin was left without being emptied when I phoned to report it i was told it was too late and I would have to wait another 3 weeks or I could take it too the recycling centre!! Thanks a bunch Anglesey council!
Having experienced a few councils across north Wales, Ynys Mon are easily the best. The service their waste dept has given has been superb. Delivered replacement bins at 6am on a Bank Holiday! Amenity site so helpful and very polite on phone, superb job.
I agree with another reviewer that the Council is predetory. Bins also get left in driveway when people can't get in or out. This has happened to me twice now. Yet other bins put back neatly. Problem?
