One of the best walks we've had visiting north wales. Our 5 year old daughter enjoyed this trail. We did not have a car thus we have to take the coastal path from the city centre, then found our way to ascend to the mountain navigating through the sign posts. There are parking spaces for those who have cars and get to the south stack light house. But we had to ascend and descend to the holy head mountain by foot. Nearest bus stop maybe around 1hr walk.
Fantastic walking. Beautiful views. Can do just a short walk or a good trek. Rough terrain in places but well worth it. Loved every minute. Free too. What more could you ask for.
Beautiful hike with scenic views and varying difficulty options. We went from Holyhead to South Stack Lighthouse and it was a little over 5 miles. Stunning!
Absolutely breathtaking! The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path offers stunning vistas at every turn, with rugged cliffs, serene beaches, and charming villages. A must for nature lovers and hikers alike. Don't forget your camera!
We did the coastal walk to the lighthouse. Not for the fainthearted as there are well over 400 steps down to the lighthouse which is fine going down but exhausting coming back. There are many places to stop and rest though and catch the beautiful scenery.nThe lighthouse itself is really worth a visit too. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable and made the long walk worth every step.
