I recently had the privilege of staying at Islam Dewsbury for the last ten days of Ramadan, a period filled with intense spiritual significance and devotion. My experience during this time was truly transformative, thanks to the exceptional environment and support provided by the mosque. Islam Dewsbury radiated a sense of serenity and reverence during the final days of Ramadan, creating the perfect atmosphere for deep reflection and connection with the divine. The facilities were impeccably maintained, ensuring that all worshippers could fully immerse themselves in their spiritual journey. The staff members at Islam Dewsbury were incredibly attentive and supportive, offering guidance on spiritual practices and providing assistance whenever needed. Their dedication and hospitality enhanced the overall experience, allowing brothers to focus wholeheartedly on their worship and contemplation. Participating in Itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan at Islam Dewsbury was a profound experience. It allowed me to engage in intense acts of worship, from performing nightly Taraweeh prayers to engaging in Quranic recitation and reflection. The sense of community among fellow worshippers was palpable, fostering a deep sense of camaraderie and shared spiritual journey. Overall, my time at Islam Dewsbury during the last ten days of Ramadan was nothing short of transformative. Islam Dewsbury is fortunate to have two knowledgeable Ustadhs, Ehsan and Hussain, who have acquired their knowledge from Madina University. Their educational background and deep understanding of Islamic teachings allow them to effectively guide and educate the community members. The management of the Masjid is truly exceptional. It provides a wide range of facilities to meet the needs of the Muslim community. Alongside the daily prayers, the masjid offers dedicated spaces and arrangements for janaza prayers, ensuring that families can honor their deceased loved ones with respect and dignity. One of the remarkable features of Islam Dewsbury is that it is the only masjid in Dewsbury that caters to women's five daily prayers. Recognizing the importance of inclusion and accessibility, the masjid management has made special provisions to accommodate women, providing a comfortable and separate prayer area. This allows women to actively participate in congregational prayers and benefit from the spiritual atmosphere of the masjid. Furthermore, the masjid management also organizes madrassa classes to educate and nurture the younger generation. These classes help children and young adults to learn about their faith, the Quran, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, ensuring the transmission of Islamic knowledge to the next generation. A masjid on quran and sunnah with 2 exceptional ustad's ihsan and hussain both who are graduate's of madina University may ALLAH SWT bless them for there efforts.The only masjid in dewsbury which has prayer facilities for our sister's may ALLAH SWT bless all involved in the running of the masjid and the congregation.
Highly recommended to pray and study, Teachers are graduates from Islamic university of medina very beneficial for knowledge teaching based upon the Quran and Sunnah
Excellent place of worship which explains Islam with authentic Quran and Hadith. Also Jummah in English. You will need to arrive early for car parking.
It's wonderful to be in a Masjid upon the correct Aqeedah wa Manhaj of Qur'an and Sunnah. Very diverse, friendly and inclusive congregation, excellent facilities for the women and children. So many weekly classes and programmes,Alhamdulillah.
Amazing salafi masjid, brothers and sisters upon the sunnah inshallah. May Allah bless their dawah and community work to spread salafiyyah in the town ameen.
The Mosque is a beautiful centre for worship and learning Islam, but also a place that feels like home, with its strong community relationship. The congregation are very welcoming and hospitable, always attending to others needs. The Mosque has two entrances, one for females and one for males. Clean wudu facilities are available around the Masjid. The main prayer hall for men is upstairs, and downstairs for women. It has up-to-date classrooms for children studying in Madrassah islamic supplementary school. Along with funeral facilities and a kitchen for social occaisions. The Masjid has a lounge area that can be used for various activities for youth, community related events and nikkah/wedding functions. It even has its own mini cardio gym! The Masjid focuses on helping its surrounding community, one example is its foodbank that helps those who need it. Friday Jummah Khutbahs are conducted in english with one monthly urdu Khutbah, along with funeral prayers and eid prayers. Regular classes are also taught weekley in english at the Masjid online for now on Facebook due to Covid, Islam Dewsbury on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. A must visit centre!
Alhamdulillah the masjid is teaching the Quran and Sunnat correctly. Very Good people.
Beautiful Salafi Mosque and madrassah in Dewsbury.very managed big prayers hall with cleaned wazu area and toilets. Management always working hard for mosque services improvement. Neat n clean Funeral services. Very kind staff masha Allah.
