Rude, unprofessional, and unscrupulous. I took my only overcoat to have the placket fixed four days before Christmas because they are right next door to where I live. They had done a terrible job pressing some shirts a few weeks back, but I was desperate to get my coat done before Christmas. I came in when they promised it, but it still was not ready. That meant I had no overcoat through the Christmas holidays, and I had to buy a jacket to get me through the cold season. I came back again two weeks later, and the job still was not done. They had no shortage of excuses. Today, two and a half weeks later, I went in to get my coat and the job was botched. It looked like it had been sewn by a five year old. I was really upset since it was a very expensive overcoat I bought years ago when I could afford such things, and I could never buy such a coat again. I had been patient up until now, but when I saw the coat might be ruined I let them know my disappointment and dismay. When I decided to stop allowing them to experiment with alterations on my coat and just pay for the dry cleaning and take it to a real tailor in Cambridge or in London, the manager brought me my coat, I paid, and he gave me a menacing look and growled in a Cockney brogue that there was no need to be rude. I hadn't said anything. It was an ironic conclusion to my travails with these folks. They have no idea about how to maintain customer loyalty, let alone how to do a good job. Avoid at all costs if you have nice clothes or expect to be treated professionally.
