Absolutely livid. A few years ago I got this lady to alter my daughters prom dress as her bust was a little small. As a dressmaker myself I was wary as the dress cost over 300 and we wanted her to be able to wear it again. When her bust had filled out. I just undid Irinas stitching to find she has CUT THROUGH THE SEAM on a heavily beaded top so my girl will never be able to wear this again. I had expected her to undo the seam and restitch it with a larger seam allowance. Thats what I would have done and deeply regret my lack of confidence. It has cost us a beautiful and extremely expensive dress. If you ever want to wear your dress again never let her near it!

I found Irena quite a few years ago, when she still worked from home - so glad I did!! I take everything to her, from simple turning up of a dress, alterations to evening dresses, she has made fancy dress costumes to match my ideas and also has made all of the curtains and cushions in my house. She is lovely, very knowledgable and helpful, cannot recommend her highly enough.

Friendly, professional and prompt service from an amazing lady who is passionate about what she does. Comes highly recommended and I would never go anywhere else for seamstress adjustments. Many many thanks. Claire. (Entire wedding party attire adjusted)!

have given this one star because is least i can give it, make your own mind up from review. went there with a brand new pair of suit trousers needing them to be adjusted urgently for work interviews. turned up at 9am on a monday morning expecting them to be open but sign said 10am, anyway blonde lady came to the door said come in and ill sort you out, think too myself ok good. Then all i get out of her once in is how busy she is and she not be doing this then going on about how busy she is to the point of rudeness and being objectionable and not even intrested as to what i need at all. at which point i tell her fine i will leave and take my business else where and will not be coming back and unlock the door and leave. whatever happend to be polite and bit of customer service? I don't normally leave bad reviews but in this case i will let you decide, my personal advice avoid this place like the plague and go anywhere else but here! They seem completely over run with wedding dresses etc and not enough staff to cope or manners either. i personally will not ever be going back there. hope it helps some of you
