The guys who had this place for years and years are for whatever reason no longer there. The new guy who’s got it I think is doing a great job. Honestly I think the chips now are better than the chips the previous people would make and they were very popular. Would definitely recommend and don’t let the change of staff out you off.

Definitely gone downhill since the new owners took over last year; poor quality, re-heated food later in the day, and now regularly closes well before the advertised time of 10pm. Completely unreliable, best going elsewhere after 9pm to a place that is actually likely to be open when it says it will be!

Been going here for years and always enjoyed high, quality food but in recent weeks the standards have dropped considerably. The chips in recent weeks have been either over cooked or hard and under cooked which in my eyes is very amateurish and disappointing.

Best fish and chips on the Wirral for me. Limited selection though, and you'll mostly need to wait while they cook it fresh for you, but worth it.
