Lovely garden, nice benches for picnic, bee hives to see and if you are lucky you can get to see horses from over the wall. With or without kids a lovely garden to witness the spring coming and flowers.

A beautiful little garden hidden from crowds. I love this place because it's very well kept, it's quiet, it's beautiful, it's accessible.
There is an entrance fee which I guess makes sense since very few people come here. As far as I remember (and I may be wrong) this place is not dog-friendly. There are toilets available.

Lovely place for a peaceful and relaxed walk.
This place is definitely not a popular tourist destination but more a locals only place so if you are looking for a moment for yourself or a good place to read a book or let you mind unwind, that's the place you need.

Really beautiful and perfect stop en-route the Newcastle ferry to the Highlands. Lovely gardens with picknick spots and toilet. Entry fee for non-members (National Trust) is not cheap, but I'm sure the maintenance of the garden isn't either.
