Unfortunately the church was sold a few years ago and is now a private building not open to public. The graveyard however is still property of the church of Scotland and contains many beautiful preserved gravestones plus the graves of the Lamont's of Knockdow
Stopped here on a bike tour and took 4 or 5 photos of church and graveyard that I spent time to set up before I clicked the shutter. Finished bike ride taking more photos elsewhere. On returning home discovered photos were not stored on my card, nor were they in trash bin. All other images were present. I'm 100% sure I took the shots. Never lost photos like this before. Can't help feeling strange forces are at work.
Beautiful little church on the banks of a sea loch, and on a quiet country road. Very peaceful and relaxing location. Its just a shame we couldn't get inside apparently it's been sold to a private owner.
