We had a really enjoyable family lunch, the seafood was very fresh, all of our meals were well seasoned. We ordered the aubergine soup of the day, scampi and chips, haddock and chips, the inver burger, and the sea bass special. The chips were crispy and clearly home made which always improves a meal in my mind. The presentation was lovely too. I think if anything I would've kept the scampi separate from the chips but that's just my view the plate still looked good and I loved how the tartar sauce was in an oyster shell. The atmosphere in the lounge was great, very homely and comfortable. Overall highly recommend, we will definitely be back as the food was so tasty and very reasonably priced!
Living at Dornoch heard so many good things about this beautiful pub so it was a must to try it out, was not disappointed. Booking essential even Tuesday was very busy. Fantastic staff so friendly nothing too much trouble, lovely cosy bar area. Fabulous food, great chef producing all homemade food even the wood fired pizza was as good if not better than what we in Rome. Can't wait to return. Thank you Inver Inn
Great place for fish dishes lobster muscles etc and does unusual take on loaded chips Great deserts prices not too expensive Owner lady very friendly but our server was not the best and had inappropriate clothing as you can see in photo. Rather not have antieseptic gel on table and asked for a beer and got served a half pint.
Lovely lunch, Cullen skink soup, beautiful sandwiches with home made bread, the best sausage rolls I've ever tasted, then absolutely gorgeous scones with jam and cream, all washed down with a nice cup of tea. Orange juice, blackcurrant juice and water on the tables too. Great value at £15.
Lovely inn, a brilliant find in the Highlands of Scotland. Their recent reward of best Gastro pub in Scotland is well deserved. Excellent food and very friendly staff.
The food that was served to are part of 8 was amazing would highly recommend the inver inn to eat. It was fairly priced and staff where amazing as well
Had a brilliant meal here, the food was incredible the best we've eaten in our holiday. The langouistines were amazing. The pub is very cosy and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Service was great, will definitely be back!!!
This pub was an absolute delight, slightly off the beaten track, it is a stone's throw from a beautiful beach take your wellies and you can walk forever. The staff were a delight, the selection of drinks was very impressive; I genuinely didn't expect to find Erdinger blue in such a remote place!! The food was amazing, I could talk for days about it. I had the loaded fries with cheese and maple bacon, it was GLORIOUS!! The fries basically swam in a cheddar fondue that wasn't oily or sickly, it was perfect. I had the lobster as a main and it didn't miss a beat, nor did the banoffee pie for dessert. Easily the best pub I've attended so far on my jaunt through the Highlands, would recommend and I wish I lived closer so I could go again next week!
Owners and staff at the Inver Inn were superb and provided lovely touches for our wedding anniversary to make it extra special. Food was fantastic, chicken pakora starter with gorgeous dip followed by chicken roast bowl with mash and a side of vegetables. Great portions, so much so I couldn't manage a desert! Highly recommended. Bar is also very inviting with a log burner and a brilliant selection of drinks.
Had an amazing lunch at Inver Inn. The food was amazing and varied - so many excellent choices. A mark of a good pub are it's chips and these were the best we've had! Our dog was not only welcome but shown amazing love and attention. A real hidden jem in an incredible location.
