Great shopping center with all the usual shops you would expect, outside the centre was something else but.... Nice place to go plenty of variety and a good food / restaurant part, definitely recommend
Good sized shopping mall with lots of paid parking places and a good sized food court. Well managed clean mall and has some good shops. Parking bays are very tight in basement area with lots of pillers taking up too much of parking spaces
Large shopping centre, many different shops of different classes. Large grocery shop, there is a cinema. Clearly built, so you understand where to go.
A Comparison Between Stoke's Potteries Centre and Derby Centre Living in Stoke, I often visit the Potteries Centre for my shopping needs. However, after experiencing the vibrancy of Derby Centre, I can't help but wonder why Stoke's shopping scene falls short in comparison. Derby Centre exudes an amazing energy – bustling yet not overwhelmingly crowded. It offers a plethora of shops, catering to every need and desire. The variety and quality of stores truly make it a shopper's paradise. During my recent visit to Derby Centre, I found myself immersed in a delightful shopping spree. After walking over 10,000 steps exploring the diverse range of shops, I treated myself to a delicious pizza. The experience was nothing short of amazing. While the Potteries Centre in Stoke serves its purpose, the charm and convenience of Derby Centre left a lasting impression on me. I hope that Stoke's shopping scene can strive to achieve the same level of excellence and variety in the future.
A NICE EXPERIENCE. I'm not a shopping centre fan, I probably use them once a year through gritted teeth. However this place is actually quite nice. I found it relatively quiet, not too busy. I had to ask the customer services a question about parking and they were very pleasant and helpful. There's a good range of shops, and a handful of restaurants.
Seems to be improving compared to the last few years. Food court feels more modern and has way more of a selection. Always seems to be 10+ closed shops when you visit, though it feels like it’s not as bad as it used to be. All feels like the same to of ships though, like 70% clothes shops 20% food and drink and 10% miscellaneous like W.H.Smith. Also feels small compared to other shopping centres Nottingham and Birmingham are not too far and are bigger. Overall, not bad if you’re in Derby, not worth the trip if you’re far away
Derbys indoor shopping centre, was the old Eagle centre. Usual collection of shops and food places.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Derbion is a mixed bag. On one hand, the selection of stores is impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and budgets. From high-end fashion to budget-friendly finds, there's something for everyone. The food court offers a decent variety of options, although the seating area can get quite crowded during peak times. However, the layout of the shopping center is somewhat confusing, and it's easy to get lost. The signage could definitely be improved. Additionally, while there are plenty of shops, the overall atmosphere feels a bit generic and lacking in character. The parking situation is another issue. Finding a spot can be a nightmare, especially on weekends. The center would benefit greatly from investing in a more efficient parking system. Overall, Derbion is a functional shopping destination, but it falls short of being a truly enjoyable experience. With some improvements, it could become a much more attractive place to spend time.
Visited here this week and it’s great for shopping trips. Derbion has a range of clothing stores, home wear, and anything else you could need all in one place. It has a good range of food spots to choose from.
Great shopping centre. Fresh, clean and modern shopping centre that you can spend hours. It contains great brands. Food facilities are massive and toilets are clean. Easy to reach from city centre and train station.
