Visited 11/5 about 6.30pm. It wasn't as busy as expected for a Saturday evening. Food was fantastic value for the portion sizes. Steak & ale pie had plenty of filling & was very tasty. Chicken skewers were moist. Steak was cooked medium & to perfection. Overall great mealsFood: 5/5
Had a small breakfast while attending breakfast with the Easter bunny, nothing wrong with the food but the toast wasn’t great hard bread. Rest was fine! Son had the Easter pancakes. It was a shame there was only a few kids during that time slot with the Easter bunny as they did out effort in! The Easter bunny was very enthusiastic with the children. Played pass the parcel, musical chairs, had colouring and head bands to use. Danced with the children. Parking: Big car park! It’s free on bank holiday and Sundays so it was free on the day we went. If you spend £5 in the Tesco you get a free hour or two car parking not sure how much Kid-friendliness: Kid based activity so was very kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: I’ve come here plently of times with work and I support a service user in a wheelchair there’s plenty of room and accessibility
Tables where sticky and the floor of the table next to us was covered in food for the whole time of our meal it was quiet no more than 4 other groups in the restaurant Ordered deserts after finishing my food. Waited 40 minutes and they still hadn't turn up. My partner then went up to ask how long it would take for him to turn around and say they'll start it straight away. It was then another took 15 minutes for two deserts to turn up. When they came out the apple crumble looked like it had been sat there for 10 minutes and was Luke warm. Will not be going again.
Food was very nice and hot and good pricing and good portion we had 2 super special breakfast and one full English and what's good is you can change if you don't like something on the breakfast to something else you do like overall would recommendFood: 4/5
Walked in but no one to seat us , so got a seat out selfs , sat near the bar & ordered .. waited 35 mins for my food . After asking some one how long for our food ? , they said food will be there in several mins , after that food has finally come , I ordered the Jerk chicken .. jeeeeze terrible for any one do not order this chicken was just moist , the protein must of been frozen and steamed of some sort to the point you can twist the fork in it falling off like tender pullpork . Jerk chicken I was expecting sauciness covered not no dry chicken with shaken seasoning and uncle bens rice with a lot of kidney beans , & 5 wings fried to the max to make sure they papi dry dry . The sauce idk … thought I’d give it a try see if it makes a difference .. BOY .. say less . That sauce nasty some sort of orange mango sauce idk very orange looking . not so jerk chicken . Told the staff after , was told yes people do complain about that .. then why put it on menu , Gordon Ramsey would have deffo walked out on this one . Only thing I had that I finished was the mac and cheese , very hungry after 2 hour drive so yeh a McDonald’s would have been the better substitute . Wouldnt come here again and my mistake should of checked reviews first -
Had a lovely meal, service was of excellent standards, food was amazing, veggie lasagne was the nicest I’ve had at a pub. But mostly I want to shout out to our waiter Sam he was so lovely and friendly, and gave us an amazing service, will defiantly be back and please let him know how happy we was with him today, a credit to your team for sure. Me and my daughter have had a wonderful evening Vegetarian options: Veggie lasagne was amazing the nicest I’ve had at a pub really tasty, salad complimented it perfectly
Had a great experience at the Interceptor today, food came out hot and quicker than expected. Stopped in whilst shopping to friendly bar staff, didn’t catch the name but ginger hair. Will definitely be backFood: 5/5
Went for breakfast at the interceptor. Was average food wise with pale sausage and overcooked egg. The biggest let down was I paid an extra £1 for a piece of toast and it was tiny and cold so butter wouldn't melt. I wouldn't order extra toast again. The best thing though was the amazing service from both the lady who brought my tea and the young lad who brought my breakfast and checked on me. Friendly smiling and absolutely the stars in the pub. Hope the bosses appreciate them both.
Very friendly pub, food was good and Vicky was superbFood: 5/5
Spontaneously popped in for food with a friend. Saw it was curry and drink for £7.. be rude not to. I had the chicken jalfrazi and my friend had the korma. Both looked less than appetising apparently the korma was ok. Mine was just disgusting. The chicken was hard and dry with bone piece being rock hard. I’m not one to usually complain but it was dreadful! Showed the bar man the piece of chicken that was like stone and said the rest isn’t much better. They offered me something else which I politely declined so then I was offered a refund. Can’t fault the service in that respect. I hope this is a one off because some other dishes that were coming out looked quite nice.
