Loved my hair cut! Wendy gave me some ideas as to what would suit me and I was very happy with the finished result. The shampoo experience was nice too! Loved the sign saying ‘quiet area’ a nice touch! Love the peace & quiet whilst having my hair washed and a head massage!
I visited innovation for the first time a few weeks back as I was looking for somewhere local and convenient for beauty treatments since having a baby. I saw Kayley for a manicure and she made me feel so welcome and beautifully freshened up my nails. I’ve since been back two more times to see Kayley and have taken my newborn with me and Kayley has made me feel at ease each time. Very pleased with my new beauticians.
I recently started using Innovation after being let down by my previous hairdressers. I’m really glad I changed, Abbie is so lovely and always makes me feel welcome. It’s a lovely relaxed environment with friendly staff, you got a lovely hot drink and treat and you can tell the staff really care about you and your hair. Abbie does a great job with my hair and the head massage is an added bonus. I definitely recommend this salon!
I have been to Innovation for a long time now and wouldn't use anyone else. Sophie is an amazing hairdresser and takes the greatest care when cutting and colouring. Perfect! I use Meg for my nails and I can honestly say there is no-one else that I have ever been to that does such a great job!! Perfect! They also sell the best products! Take a look next time you want a hair or nail appointment! You will not be disappointed.
It was my first time at innovations yesterday and the experience was just amazing. I was quite nervous going in as I have tried so many hairdressers previously and never come across one that hasn't messed my hair up. I had my hair washed, cut, dried and resytled by Jenna and it's honestly the best hair cut I've ever had. I can't fault it, there's not a hair out of place! Thank you for such a lovely experience and I'll be back for sure!
My sister is a hairdresser so I have never needed to visit a salon on a regular basis before. I chose Innovation on impulse as I liked the look of it and was greeted in a friendly but professional manner when I went in to make enquiries. Abbie gave me a consultation and I have been booking with her ever since! Her cutting is excellent and the style remains great even when growing too long! Thanks Abbie !
Kayley has been doing my eyebrows for a good few years and i wouldn’t go anywhere else! She’s always making sure i am happy and it’s lovely to see someone who likes to have a bit of a chat during the session. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my eyebrows now as she’s does them perfect everytime! Highly recommend!
I have been seeing Abbie for hair and Meg for nails for well over a year now. Abbie - your natural talent for my specific copper colour never fails to amaze me. Abbie is always professional and listens very well. Abbie will give her honest opinion if you need advice and her head massages at the sink are unbeaten. Meg - my nails are always perfect and mostly last about 3 weeks. When I don’t know what colour to have you always make a great choice and your attention to detail is amazing. The salon itself is full of amazing friendly women and it feels like a home from home. There is also an endless supply of tea and treats. I won’t be going anywhere else.
Abbie went the extra miles with attention to detail in hair preparation, colour and styling techniques, which is an admirable experience in a hair salon. It was time to visit Innovation Hair and Beauty Salon for root colour and to give style back to my hair. I thought I would give one of the younger girls an opportunity to show and use their skills for colour, cut and styling for my shoulder length hair. I normally have rollers to style my hair and thought I would give blow drying/straightners a try with Abbie in the salon and was not disappointed. She asked whether the colour was good and if I wanted to stay with the same or change. We discussed this as well as the expectation of the finished cut and style, in detail. This discussion was not only followed, but exceeded expectations in all aspects. The added bonus was Abbie's skill in not only telling me how to avoid and correct frizzy hair, but actually doing this when styling. Abbie listened and acted upon what was discussed together. I certainly recommend Abbie to anyone seeking a reliable hair stylist, who listens, suggests and discusses then acts upon these.
What a great young hairdresser Chantelle is. She made a fantastic job of washing and blow drying my hair for the first time as a visitor to the area. Amazing head massage and relaxing hour. Super person and I can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you Chantelle. Judy from Cambridge.
