Food was awful, over cooked, hardly any cod in the large fish, if you could call it large and the small cod was mostly batter. This food should not of been sent out and I have wasted good money on a meal. Thrown in the bin!
I always have had my gluten free fish and chips from here. Never any issues in the past but the last two visits have been shocking ... Portion sizes have been reduced hugely so much so I can count the amount of a large chips on my hand. I had to put the fish and chips in the oven when I got home as they were given to me undercooked. Most of the employees seemed to have changed and needed a large amount of training in cooking and customer service.
A local chippy of mine. Been here for a very long time. Louie and the team are always polite and the fish and chips are the best around.Food: 5/5
Thank you louis for an excellent gluten free fish and chip supper, cooked in its own frier so no cross contamination, I really enjoyed them and will be back for more. Thank you Dietary restrictions: Ceoliac friendly independent fryer so no cross contamination
The chips were way over cooked, it was like like they had some dumb person who thought that was acceptable before wrapping it. Very poor business to give you garbage like that
The best steak n kidney pie n chips I've had in years. Really tasty just sad I couldn't finish all the chips. Staff were friendly. Next time I'm in Redditch will definitely call in for more.
Worst meal we’ve ever had! Poor portion size, everything was cold, chips was like yesterdays reheated, savaloy was cold, curry sauce was horrible, salad on kebab was cooked and inedible when it got here late, pitta was rock hard, honestly shocked at the poor quality
I admittedly have only purchases food once from here so there is room for manuover for future visits lol. This place gets such a high rating automatically because of how lovely the owner and the staff are. Unfortunately in regards to the food it was a bit mixed on this day, to be fair they had just reopened at tea time. But the chips were too crunchy and hardly edible at all. The battered sausage and tinned roe were standard on the real positive side the fish was fresh and delicious. Might try next time at around 7ish when the chips are hopefully more fresh as well
Best kebab I've tasted in years Parking: Across the road from Chip shop but just a couple of yards away
Good honest fish and chip shop. The prices were fair and the portions decent. Did have to wait a while but the food was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. All safety measures in place so felt at ease in shop.
