Great campervan stop over thank to Craven Council. Level tarmac with a 24hr toilet. There are 4 designated motorhome spots. If you turn up before 1800 please pay the day rate parking fee as advertised on the board. It will cost you £6 to stay from 1800-0900. Easy walk into town and a place to start the walk up Ingleborough give yourself 4hrs.
It a car park , but there is a little more too it. You’ve a good number of disabled parking spots, electric points for cars. There are toilets , and a post office and library. Your at the top of town so almost everything else is down hill , but don’t worry it’s only say 7 mins to walk into the centre ….
Set off from ingleton Community centre carpark to Ingleborough which we thought was a safer option than parking on the roadside for just a small fee £3.90 for the day A challenging walk but well worth the views. Recommended to people with a good level of fitness.
We stayed overnight in the motorhome bays. £5 per night and daily charges apply between 9am and 6pm, from as little as 20p for 44 mins up to £3 90 for all day. Toilets open 24 hours, but be aware. If you need to fill water bottles or containers, this isn't possible due to the automated hand washing facilities.
