I presented with a lower back injury a few months ago. Immediately, the practitioner started dismissing my pain as somewhat "in my head", before even examining me. I felt that I was not taken seriously since I'm "a fit young lad", and I also felt a little patronized. He remarked on how I wasn't "One of the 50 year olds who can't move without back pain" that he usually sees [paraphrased]. Ultimately, I felt like maybe I'd wasted his time, or that I'd overreacted by making an appointment. After examination, the practitioner didn't actually diagnose me with anything. He just gave me some exercises and sent me on my way. I wasn't really given any aftercare or long-term advice. The practitioner didn't seem to think I'd need to see him again. I'm not sure how much the exercises helped, though my pain did improve with time. My issue has since recurred, and a different physio practice has diagnosed me with a bulging disc. The examination room felt dingy, with no natural light. The redeeming features were that I was able to get an appointment same-day, and the session seemed well-priced. But overall, I can't recommend this clinic if you're a young person with a back injury. They might not take you seriously.

My son hurt his back. He got a same day appointment and they explained what he needed to do, to help himself. 2 days later and he is fine now. Definitely recommend.
