I walked into the Sittingbourne depot expecting my steels to take a few days to cut but no I got them within 20 minutes. The young man in the office was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone.
For odd pieces of steel this company is ok. But they are incapable of fulfilling a full size lot 10Tonnes plus. Steel arrived a week later than agreed with pieces missing, and nesting information requested a week prior to the first delivery was not provided until 2 days after the delivery.nnCustomer Service - Phone calls / emails chasing nesting information and the delivery were ignored continuously or false information was received.nnThe only reason that we would go as high as 1 star is that the test certificates were promptly provided.nnFrom now on we are sticking with Barretts for processed items who delivered the pieces within 1 day of order fully processed.
Great service! I called the Sittingbourne office and spoke to Andrew who went over and beyond to get my steel out to me. He called me next day with a time slot and the steels arrived on time. We will be using Industrial Metal Services going forward.
Spoke to a guy on the phone who confirmed full price of metal, then without telling me at all suddenly an extra delivery charge gets added of £30, wont be using this company again if they are not honest about full price first time round. Also, paperwork had no delivery address on it so metal was left on van and I haven't had any paperwork from my payment, overall a bad customer experience.
Witnessed an IMS Steel lorry loaded with heavy metal literally push a tiny car all the way from Canterbury to Herne, so dangerous and having called IMS I Am not convinced they have taken my complaint seriously, professional drivers should know better, the road was wet and is amongst the top 10 worst roads in the country for accidents. Great advertising for your company that the car being pushed up the road was going plenty fast enough there was no need for it the old person driving must have been crapping themselves
