Our 1st visit here and passing the open toilets on the way in was not really very nice.nWe gave our name on arrival as we had booked a table for 4 for a birthday celebration and got a look of confusion for some reason!nWe were shown to a table to the left of the large window, which offered us great views over the bay which we enjoyed.nOrdered our meals, and it all arrived quickly but virtually got thrown at us by a male member of staff who appeared to not want to be there!nAll food was enjoyed as 4 clean plates proved.nPrice was spot on, and there were no complaints with that at all.nThe 2 female staff were pleasant and helpfull but the lone male needed to cheer up a bit.nThe 3 staff members appeared to be very busy with the restaurant and takeaway orders. Maybe they need more help.nBig room, plenty of space, great view and food
Apsolutley amazing food ….. probably the best we’ve had in a long time ….. highly recommend …. If you’re in the area give it a try …..the sizzlers are just unreal my husband had the lamb and was cooked to perfection I ordered a madras I was a little worried how spicy this would be…. But perfect…. Also the atmosphere is just chilled and really friendly
Superb food and gets 5 stars just for that, despite being a little lacking in atmosphere - needs a little more decor... but the food is wonderful. Had an Akbari Chicken which was spicy but so beautifully spiced, with a great naan bread and keema rice which was delicately flavoured and rich with meat pieces. Will be back again very soon. Our new Indian takeaway I think.
New, beautifully decorated Indian restaurant with terrific views over Benllech bay...and AMAZING food! It was so good, we had to change our plans to make a second trip to it! The garlic ocean king prawns were simply gorgeous! Beware of sauce splatter as you rip the shells off but it's well worth the hazard! The sizzling tandoori dishes chicken and king prawn were terrific. Over our two visits, we also enjoyed chicken tikka massala, Akbari lamb on the bone and Achari Khalia lamb, egg fried rice, onion bhajis and a variety of naans. All were cooked & seasoned to perfection and were not overly spicy hot. The venue is on the 2nd floor but a lift makes it easily accessible for all. Its open patio windows allow cooling sea breezes to filter through. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful & obliging. The service was a little slow on the first visit but was already slicker by the time we went back. Highly recommended.
Always very clean - nice decor - a good place to go for a meal in Benllech. I have dined here several times - papadum starter , main meal & dessert & drinks - tasty food and good value for money. Attentive staff . If you arrive by car - plenty of parking next to the restaurant.
