Food was good. Service level from our waiter was above average. All food arrived hot. There's nothing that really separates this from any other curry house around. We read the reviews before deciding to eat here as it was a Sunday evening and choices were limited. The bad reviews seemed to come from people ordering take aways but if you're sitting in your house and can't be arsed to walk to your kitchen and make yourself something you've only got yourself to blame for a sub standard meal. A takeaway's never as good as dining out.
We had not been before as we recently moved to a village nearby and I understand it is recently under new management. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was good. My only complaint was the bathroom was very tired but we would certainly visit again.
The food was ordinary. Not excellent, not horrible. We took two mains and two starters lamb based, and the meat was not tender at all. Sauces was ok for the main. Saag paneer is something we don't let miss on our indian menu, and this was very good. We have also enjoyed a similar dish, this time peas based can't remember the name. Price wise the restaurant seems ok, but unfortunately our digestion was not. At the time I'm writing this review on Monday morning I'm still attempting to complete it. Had no breakfast to compensate the burning that both my wife and I got. I can only suspect the problem was with the mains, as our daughter that eat only the vegetable dishes is fine. Re the environment, the restaurant is very old. Poor decor in all honesty. I appreciated the tablecloth and the napkins on the table though. They sought of very high quality. But the floor ultimately requires to be cleaned. Staff is welcoming and friendly.
Had a great curry here. Prices were reasonable, food was good and staff friendly and attentive. Also lovely to see the owner about and to have a chat to. Will happily return again.
Ordered a delivery reuctantly , as prefered restarant wad closed. Papadums smelt and tasted of old very stale oil, I ordered a £9.95 lal mas rajasthani... massivly dissapointing ,sauce tasteless, onions under cooked and not spicy as discribed, a lot of money for a very dissapointing dish, ordered a raita as curry was meant to be hot, was so watery and very unappealing to look at, didnt even try it! same went for hubbies meal..biryani and veg side dish. biryani was bland and veg curry was more a veg soup, looked foul so didnt even try it. garlic naan lacked the garlicy tase expected , and was very dry.Tarka daal was very tasty though, hence the one star. We wont be back.
Had some really good meals here. Their Bengali nights are well worth trying if you get a chance. Some very different items on the menu. Never been disappointed.
Take away, biryani tasted of salt, nothing else, rice very over cooked. Panner Passarella, I said I did not eat meat, but there was machine cubed chicken in it, and so sickly sweet. There was plain rice with it didn't order salty again. Veg curry had peas and onions in it only.
Been coming here for a couple of years for takeaway. Im boring so order the same thing everytime and always nice however somehow price seems to change every visit two weeks ago was £16 last week was £18 visited tonight and its £22?? Sometimes if freinds are over we order more and with discounts etc comes to sort of the same price.. think it depends on whos serving you to get the best price or discount??
Amazing customer service & amazing food. This is the best indian in Milton Keynes by a long shot. Food looked, smelt and tasted incredible. Highly recommend
Absolutely shocking. Waited 2 hours for the takeaway after being told 3 times it has left. Customer service was equal as bad and when the food arrived it was cold. Would not recommend at all.
