Jamie was very efficient in my mortgage renewal - turned round in 48 hrs! I had been waiting over 6 months for my previous advisor whom i gave up on so was very pleased it took Jamie 48 hrs.... plus saved loads on my monthly payment! Fantastic hassle free service. Highly recommend! After getting very frustrated with various comparison sites and being bombarded with emails and phone calls I used IMAFS for my life and critical illness cover. Rorie was so helpful and ensured I had the right cover for my needs. The whole process was seamless and hassle free and I got a better price than was being offered by others I had found. We came to Graham at the last minute when we were moving house. Our current lender had moved the goal posts and reduced the amount we could borrow, and our previous mortgage broker could not get us the amount we needed elsewhere. I was about an hour away from pulling out of the move, when we were recommended Graham as a last ditch attempt. Graham was confident right from the off that he could get what we needed, so we got all of our information over to him and let him work his magic. His astute actions got us everything we needed, in a surprisingly quick time given the current circumstances. We would not be moving if it wasn't for IMAFS. Thank you!

If you are looking to take the hassle out of finding a mortgage and buying a home, avoid IMAFS. Initially we were very pleased with the service. The mortgage advice was good although this is something that an internet savvy person could easily do themselves. Our interactions with the advisor were also pleasant, so customer service-wise we could not complain. Then, at the crucial phases of our transaction, the cracks started to show. We had accepted the recommendation of a solicitor from the advisor, but found that the solicitor was not very helpful, so we changed solicitors and informed the advisor, who responded promptly, acknowledging the change and said they would update the details with our lender. When our survey was complete, over a month later, and the mortgage offer made we waited for our solicitor to receive the offer so that we could exchange contracts. Then we waited some more. Then we chased the advisor who assured us that it was being done and not to worry. Then we contacted the lender directly and it turns out that the advisor had not updated our solicitors details with them at all and the mortgage offer had been sent to the wrong people and needed to be done again. This was only rectified because we checked, not the people who we had paid to take the hassle away from us. The next day, we had a letter forwarded to us from our old address that we had not lived in for 4 months. This was our copy of the mortgage offer. We had never given this address as a correspondence address, but this was the address given to our lender by our advisor. So the mortgage offer had to be updated again before it could be sent to our solicitor, further delaying the process and causing us additional stress. This was all in the same week that we were due to exchange contracts, needless to say it caused us a lot of stress and could have been avoided if the advisor kept accurate records. When I spoke to the advisor to say how upset we were, I was offered a lukewarm apology, accompanied by a casual "just a human error, these things happen". The point is, you pay these people so that these errors don't happen. So, if you want to buy a house with advice and support that takes the stress out of things, use a different company.

Been using IMAFS for the past couple of times I have re-mortgaged. Jamie Lennox is brilliant explains everything thoroughly and is always there to answer any questions I have had and to advise me the best he can. Would highly recommend him!
