I would give 0 star if i could. I purchased an approved used car from Cheshire Oaks a year ago, and the vehicle has too many faulty parts. It seems the team didn't investigate properly before selling the vehicle. Until now, I have literally sent the vehicle back to the workshop EVERY month!!! And still have problems at the moment. List of faulty parts: Digital dash screen, touch pad, central compartment door, driver's door trim, tailgate thrust, suspension arm, central console door open button, fuel cap string, foggy headlights, tailgate opening button... Even the front two tyres were not Mercedes OEM runflats.. Although the vehicle is under warranty, it is still a very time wasting and disappointed thing to send the vehicle to the dealership every month! At the present, they are facing shortage of employees, and it is very difficult to get in touch with the aftersales manager. BTW, anyone who's going to purchase an approved used vehicle, remember to check the interior, as the previous owner may glue the broken parts back see attached photos Follow up: I have received a phone call from the service team "eventually"!! The attitude of the team is not acceptable, as I was told that the vehicle is in my hand for 12 months, they are concerning the damage of the button is made by me, other dealerships or detailers. They service team is kicking the ball over and over again, but doesn't take the liability that they didn't prepare the vehicle well. I told the team that I would never notice the button is glued back until it actually came off, and got the response of "if the parts is glued back, it won't last for 12 months". Glue can lose it performance anytime from day 1, how dare to use this excuse to avoid the liability? I have already raised the complaint to MBUK, will update later.
Brought my 8 months old since bought brand new GLA 250 e, as the electric range has dropped to a third from 33 to 11 miles. Being under warranty I was expecting it to be fixed, or at least to be told a reason to why this is happening. Far from that, I have been told that "no failure has been found, and the new range might be due to the way how we drive the car". The car is mostly used for commuting, and definitely is not driven fast or aggressively. And to add to this lack of service the car has been given to me without having the battery charged. Only 3 miles range left. At least they could have bothered to hand the car back fully charged. My lesson learned?: Mercedes Electric cars, no thank you! I was looking forward to the EQE, not anymore. You have lost a costumer, and I'm sure I won't be the last if this happens to other costumers.
I am probably more critical for the standard of service since the service charge is at a premium. One would expect top class service for a branded product. It was a B service 2 years old E class. Upon arrival, I asked for some check up due to recent incidence of engine stalling on a main road for no special reasons. In my view it is potentially very dangerous. When I collected the car, I was served by a young representative who could not tell me what was carried out. In fact he talked a lot waffle in my view without answering my concern. He seemed to be more interested in the condition of my tyres which may need replacing in a few months time. Eventually he said he would go away and find out. He never returned. I asked another representative who advised me if it happens again, I should bring it back. I am not entirely sure if any safety check was done. As far as I am concerned, it was NOT a convincing answer. No invoice was given to me though I prepaid on line. In summary I just do not know what was done to my car other than the video regarding visual check on the underside of my car. For the charge and brand, one would expect better and more professional customer care and service.
Everything went well except I mentioned about my key before going and it couldn’t be dealt with on the day because I didn’t have the v5 with me, so I’ll have to make another journey out. Also was told this would cost me to replace, when I questioned this I was told it was still covered under warranty as I would have expected. The service also took twice as long as I was told and was late to a meeting because of this. Otherwise very efficient process and lovely to have the car cleaned!
I would like to say that I have had an exceptional customer journey so far with Mercedes Cheshire Oaks with the recent purchase of my new E class. This is my fourth purchase with them. I dealt with Mark Wilson. Mark was knowledgeable, attentive and incredibly customer focused. He dealt with every part of my enquiry, he called back and responded rapidly and totally went the extra mile. He was not a pushy sales person and seems to genuinely care that you have a good experience and that everything is right first time. I really cannot praise him enough. I also dealt with Rick, his manager, who took the time out to speak to me when I went to collect the car. He clearly takes pride in what Mercedes Cheshire Oaks does and again wanted my experience to be a genuinely positive one. He explained information well and clearly is focused on customer retention. I really cannot fault them and I would like to say a massive thank you for making my journey such as positive one.
Very good service. Helpful staff particularly Jamie Lee, Tom Woof and Simon Roberts who arranged a test drive whilst I was waiting for service which made great use of my time. Been to other dealers but will always try to go the extra distance to have my car looked after at Cheshire Oaks. Hope it continues!
My experience at the dealership has been fantastic. First time buyer of an electric vehicle. Kept informed all the way through, with the car arriving 6 Months early. My experience with Zoe has been nothing less than amazing and I highly recommend her and Cheshire Oaks Mercedes to everyone!
Recently I needed some service parts for my Mercedes, from calling the parts dept and speaking with a guy called Liam the experience was so positive, when I arrived to collect the parts Liam brought the parts out and went through the box to make sure I had everything I needed. It was a pleasure and nothing was too much trouble. Would def recommend this dealership, friendly and helpful and a great experience
We purchased a car, 4 years warranty extension and 4 years care plan ONLINE. The purchase process went well and the car was delivered to our place by a driver on time. The car arrived dirty, which is okay due to the wet weather that day, but after cleaning it up we found large scratches on the rear window which were not disclosed. We immediately reported it to the dealer who said they will work something out. Since then, the manager said they won't do anything and ignores communication. We are extremely disappointed by Inchcape as even their own customer service ignores messages. Probably a good dealership as long as there is no issue, their customer service quality is poor and quite disrespectful.
I visited MB Cheshire Oaks to purchase an A Class Mercedes. All the staff I interacted with were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The salesman I dealt with Simon, found me the exact car I was looking for at the right price at another location and arranged for it to be delivered to Cheshire Oaks. The whole experience was enjoyable and stress free. i would recommend Cheshire Oaks MB to anyone looking for a car.
