I'd would of given no stars if that was a option nothing but head ache and told lie after lie then when finally sorted bin charged nearly £700 to do my rebate danielle kippling make sure you give her a wide bref she is absolutely useless never available on phone unless she getting money am pretty sure this company is a scam
Do not sign over your rights to your hard earned income These bustards will not pay you any return Excuse after excuse and lie after lie HMRC are carrying out security checks It will be paid with in 15 working days No given date of refund Do not use In-Sync
"Naturally, I'm disappointed". - Maddie Knight.. Engaged in cold calling with false information to lure me in to use them for tax rebate. Once paperwork was signed, I was informed I would actually be getting less than half the amount I was told I was eligible for. I was annoyed at the mistake and unprofessionalism, so I backed out. I made a complaint, they listened to the initial phone call and agreed that I had been misinformed but as I'd signed the paperwork, I need to pay. Hard, dishonest sales tactics. When investigated by financial ombudsman service, they produced paperwork claiming to be members of the ICAEW- they are not. When asked to pay the fee, the account details didn't even match. These people are accountants! EditAnswer*- It was closed by the financial ombudsman service because I'd already signed the contract and although your tactics to get me to sign up were dishonest, somehow they were legal. They actually told me they would be surprised if you actually continued demanding payment, considering the situation. I still have the email responding to the FOS where you make the ICAEW claim. Neither in-sync or the accountant assigned to me are members. The outcome of my complaint was unacceptable because you admitted I was misinformed by your sales team, yet demanded payment. That is the reason for this review. Another thing that is clear is that a lot of these reviews for In-sync are written by staff members. One of the reviews actually thanks someone by name without realising it has his own name at the top of the review. Mickey mouse company. Responses to negative reviews are cut/paste empty words. You don't care at all and actually appear smug. Maddie Knight needs something better to say other than "naturally I am disappointed" over and over again to the one star reviews and actually do better instead.
In all honesty this company is a robbery, IF YOU EVER WORK FOR COMPANY AND THEY LET YOU THIS CIMPANY TAKE CARE OF YOUR PAYMENT SERVICES OPT OUT ASAP. Worked for Amazon and when it was time to do my tax return they made me open document on email which automatically gets signed which means you have to do your returns with them then they charge you crazy money and then pass you to debt collectors. EVERYONE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND OPT OUT ASAP
STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Especially for tax rebate. This happened recently with me. At first, they will promise you that they will thoroughly inspect all of your sending and will add every single one to the tax for such a good fee of 325£. And at the end, if not happy with the calculation they will try to give you the job by saying "If you think that I missed something you can send me through the email everything you want to add" and if you refuse and want to cancel you will still have to pay full price of 325£. Otherwise they will send the collectors after you for whom it doesn't matter who is right. So be aware of this fraudulent agency who don't care either you are happy with they job or not they will still charge you a full price.
I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMAN THIS SERVICE. They promised me that they will deliver my taxes quickly but even after 5 months still nothing..and they charged me without delivering anything..My advice keep it old school or do your own tax return or hire a proper solicitor!
My husband has used in-sync for working at Amazon as a self employed driver. They charged a lot of money for doing very little including taking a 1/3 of VAT returns. He started working for another company within amazon and told them promptly that he no longer needed them as he was using another accounting company. This was in January. They have persistently contacted him with emails about getting in contact with them. He replies every time and they are still pestering him about getting his books done.
My tax has been under security checks for over 3months they say they can't get through to HMRC. My name's Charlie Lockwood I call every week. Every week they say we we can't call them, they won't give us info. I'm sorry but surely you can do something to give me my rebate seriously avoid these lot. Awful
