There aren’t many Chinese restaurants around these days, with most being take aways. So we were very pleasantly surprised with our meal here. We went to imperial dynasty for my fathers 80th birthday. I can honestly say I’ve never tasted such amazing food served by such kind and accommodating people. The food was fresh with amazing flavours and textures. The sweet and sour king prawns were lovely and the lamb in black bean sauce was all gone by the end of the meal. Added to this, the staff were so friendly and accommodating of my fathers birthday celebrations, he had the best time. I can’t recommend imperial dynasty enough.
Having lived in Asia for 20 years we are always a bit wary of British Asian restaurants. However, we thought the food was excellent and decent value for money. Highlights included the king prawns with spicy sauce and in batter, the Hor Fun and the black pepper beef. We will definitely return, probably very soon.

A conventional British Chinese restaurant bang in the middle of the finest village in Kent. It nods towards a finer dining experience, supported by eagle eyed staff and fast food delivery. The layout of the restaurant and tables allows for a communal eating experience. This is definitely the place to go with family. Given its spot light, table lighting it offers a romantic ambience too, perfect for couples. Food is well priced and choices are varied. There is even a separate vegetarian menu. I loved the artistic oriental queues: the paintings in hallway and the miniature terracotta warriors in the hearth enhance the sense of tradition.
First visit with 2 friends on a busy Saturday night, we were welcomed quickly to our table which was nice, service was excellent and food was brought out within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering which I was expecting at least a 30 minute wait to be honest. Food was delicious and tasted fresh 100% I will be back again and tell others of my great experience, thank you to you and the ID team
ordered £50 worth of cuisine. 15min drive and rice as cold as a stone floor, flavourless pork and duck. Good reputation and shameful quality, unfortunately won’t be returning.

First time we have used for takeaway as Crown in Wateringbury closed on Monday and it was disappointing experience. The noodles were in clumps see picture clearly not separated while cooking, the Chicken Satay was strange, looking more like a black bean but tasted of neither and the prawn crackers we paid for, as we weren't sure if they would be complimentary were not in the box. We will not takeaway Chinese on Mondays from now on.
