Always had a good meal from here. Only slight moan is sauces are very thin I prefer a thicker sauce.
Absolutely disgusting. Walked in last night and it was empty. Food had clearly been the left overs from days before. Lumpy curry with skin on, chicken and the chips were like rubber. We refused to pay £14!! and went to walk out, they made us pay for our drinks tho we never took a sip! Walked out in 5 minutes. It used to be nice when it first opened. The only good reviews on here are clearly from friends of the owners. AVOID Avoid Avoid
Check trip advisor for accurate reviews! Me and 2 of my children got food poisoning, it started only 5 hours after leaving the restaurant with one of my boys vomiting the whole lot onto the bed and carpet, followed by his brother 2 hours later. I felt sick as soon as I got home after the meal but wasn't sick til a few hours after my children, we were all sick umpteen times throughout the night. I rang to tell them at the restaurant and received an abrupt reply that I need to get a Dr's note. We've been there before and it's very hit and miss as to the timing and whether it's busy or not, last night at 6pm it was fairly empty, the place was freezing cold, I complained to the owner because we didn't want to take our coats off, she just said it was cold outside! The food was also cold, most of the food containers were nearly empty. It didn't bode well at all. I'm really annoyed at their attitude, my boys were really looking forward to going there and it has ruined the end of the school holidays for all of us, they'll also miss their first day back at school tomorrow. If they can't keep the food hot to kill bacteria then is what happens, it's outrageous, as is their attitude to us all being ill all night. Definitely won't be going back there, even if they offered a free meal!
Yesterday night we had our dinner in this buffet and nothing wrong with food. My son had dessert in here and after middle of night he was very sick keep vomiting. He got poisoned. So be careful before you try them. Today I called to the restaurant and informed to the manager. She did not care. She asked me why did you call me. I just told her to check the dessert before someone have it again. Anyway no more dine in here again.
When it's at its best, the food is hot, convenient and fairly tasty. However, this place can get it very wrong and they are very slow to refill dishes with lots of empty spaces. Very samey type dishes too. Loads of fried stuff rather than vegetable type dishes. The past few times we have been have been really quite terrible but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt as I know we have been when it was spot on.
This is by far the worst buffet I have ever been to. I took my wife here yesterday after the cinema and it was that bad that I didn't even eat and half a plate of food, my wife ate very little too. The smell of the food is aweful and in its self was enough to make me regret dining. Staff were ignorant and the borderline rude. I joked to my wife as I took my first mouthful of food " well I guess we have food poisoning to look forward to tomorrow" and sure enough it's the next day and both my wife and I are Ill. Safe to say we won't be dining here again, wish I had checked out the reviews first. More expensive than any buffet I have ever visited and by far the worst..... Avoid this place like the plague!
Love the food. Quick service. In and out! Sunday is best, although a bit more expensive than a Saturday, but crispy duck is worth it. Staff remember you, know what you like to drink, where you like to sit. I go in every other weekend, eat far too much. They've even given me a discount card. I love it!
Never Again.. Several Half empty food trays with spoons for serving covered in lots of different sauces and mixed up and utensils being used for beef and chicken and pork, Chips looked 2 days old and cold. Chicken wings just looked overcooked and shrivelled.. Totally unhygenic..Staff ignorant and did not care also did not like that we complained and wanted to leave.. Tried to minimise the whole thing .. We never touched the drinks except the girlfriends daughter who took a small sip of coke they still charged £9 for a small bud and 2 cokes..It used to be alright there as I remember but It is the last time I will use this place. disgusting ..
Atmosphere was as dead as a door nob, not a lot to choose from in regards to food either. At the end no thank you for the custom or "how was everything?" Just the bill slapped on the table and not a word said for the remainder of the visit. It's the people who make a restaurant great, for us it seemed liked we were just in their way.
This place is terrible would not go back even if it was for free!! Sauces was like water, the food was undercooked and very cold!! Between four of us not one full plate was ate! The glasses was very unhygienic aswel as the food turners LEFT OUT ON A PLATE WITH A MIXTURE OF FOODS STUCK TO IT!! Resulted in my friend being sick a good few time and my boyfriend never off the toilet... The staff was just as bad very ignorant did not care about our complaints.... was not worth the £74.... the good reviews you read on the internet is lies
