As a family of Dim Sum lovers, our usual spot in Purley, while popular, had started to suffer from long queues and a slight dip in quality. This prompted a search for a new favourite beyond central London, and we were thrilled with our discovery.nnEvery dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but the Wu Gok Yam Croquettes, Beef Ho Fun, Fukien Fried Rice, and Crispy Shredded Beef were particularly memorable. What impressed us most was the freshness and perfect seasoning of everything. The excellent service was another major plus. We appreciated condiments like chilli oil and dipping chilli sauce right at the table without asking, and the attentive staff consistently topped up our teapot without us needing to ask.nnUnlike some Dim Sum restaurants where you can feel rushed, we were able to relax and savour our meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, even proactively offering to downsize plates to make room for more dishes.nnWithout a doubt, we all agreed that this is now our go-to Dim Sum destination.
Delicious, authentic plates, small and large, of decadent dazzling dishes. Splendid crispy shredded beef and smoked shredded chicken, delicate soft dumplings, risibly scrumptious spring rolls. Filling vegetarian Singapore noodles and egg-fried rice. Fried vegetables prepared with different flavors, and unexpectedly enticing fried turnip paste. Do also try the deep fried bean curd with garlic spicy salt.nnEfficient service, with food coming out piping hot. Pleasing Jasmine tea and glutenous rice balls with sweet black sesame paste filling inside, with a nice nutty twang. Popular and bustling. Reservations recommended.
The best Chinese cuisine in the area. Excellent service and buzzing environment. Highly recommended.
Very good food in a typical Chinese dim sum restaurant. The dim sum are home made. One can tell because they are fresh and made w good ingredients, while dim sum restaurants use l frozen package food. Ambiance of the restaurant wasn’t great, noisy w tired decor. Service staff were very friendly.nOne can tell the food is good when most customers were Hong Kongers
Guy was rather abrupt when we arrived but the waitresses were more friendly and helpful.nAll the food was super hot temp which was great. Had to ask for certain condiments but they were available.nOverall enjoyed the food.
