I am a Catholic. Yesterday, Maundy Thursday, my husband and I dropped by to visit the Church a childhood tradition of Holy Week "Visita Iglesia". Thinking that the Church was close, I decided to call the Parish Office first. A man answered the phone and both my husband and I cannot believe how rude he could be. He asked me first in a very rude manner, "Are you a regular parishioner?" then "Where are you from?", "Why are you here?" and when I asked what time was the service he replied in an absolutely RUDE manner. Since it was pouring rain, I can hardly hear him and he made it known by the tone of his voice that he was annoyed and did not like repeating himself. "Didn't I tell you, it's 7:30" We were shocked and disappointed with his behaviour and I cannot believe that it happened to us in a Catholic church.
Beautiful church tucked away nice for silent pray or if you need a warm space. Not been for mass yet but I felt happy to be here.
Lovely church. Everyone very approachable.
