I seem to have had a completely different experience with Image One hair studio. I went in for a pretty simple cut and the young lady that cut my hair asked me exactly what I wanted, offered to do my side burns, confirmed with me different specifics such as my fringe etc. On top of all of this I also had a lovely conversation and the staff felt really engaged with their customers, really friendly atmosphere and a hair cut well worth the money I payed.

Went for a relatively basic gents clip and trim. The hairdresser seem to have been in a rush, inexperienced and did not seem to be very bothered. Handled the clipper as what I would describe akin to shearing a lamb. Including trimming with a pair of scissors, the entire ordeal lasted about 5 minutes. Was not asked whether to have my neckline square or natural, the hairdresser decided to have it squared and ignored my side burns completely. Did not dry my hair after spraying it. Was not shown results with a mirror and only brushed off hair around the neck. Was charged £9.50 and left with face riddled with hair as not bothered to even provide a tissue. The result? A choppy haircut, with poor service and lack attention to detail. Had to trim off bits of hair around the ears when I got home. Needless to say, I will not be going back for a second shearing.

Absolutely terrible hair cut for my son, choppy looks like used blunt scissors on his hair. Not a hair dresser how could they call themselves a hair dresser cutting hair like that. They should be ashamed of sending there customer out like they were mowed over by an inferior blunt grass cutter.

I went to Image 1 the day before my 30th birthday to have my hair cut and coloured (slightly ombré). I had been growing my hair out for 18months to provide as much natural 'virgin' hair as possible to ensure the best possible results. My natural colour is a lovely dark golden brown and I was hoping to only ombré the ends (starting the graduation of colour from just above my ears). The girl who coloured my hair clearly had no idea how to do ombré and ended up bleaching the majority of my hair (one colour only) and leaving it with streaks in it that can only be described as looking like I'd combed bird muck through my hair. Although the girl said I could come back if not happy etc, I didn't trust her to be able to get it right after getting it so wrong in the first place. So, I simply paid the £58 (originally quoted at £43 the day before) and left as fast as I could. I had no time to re-colour my hair before the evening; which turned out to be a massive surprise party for me - needless to say, my hair absolutely ruined my whole birthday and I will never be going back there again.
