Can’t fault this well needed hospital.nWent in for Day Surgery on my knees yesterday Thursday and from the moment I arrived, I was looked after and treated so well. Such kind caring nurses, doctors anaesthetists. A fantastic pleasant team working along side each other and all putting me at ease. Beautiful clean wards and Theatre. This hospital and its staff don’t get the recognition they deserve.nThank you for looking after me so well. X
Visited Ilkeston Community Hospital this morning for an X-ray on my knee. Parked right outside the entrance.nI arrived early and was booked in at the department. by a very pleasant and friendly young man . Everywhere was spotlessly cleannI was taken in for my procedure straight away and treated with respect and efficiency. I was back in my car 15 mins.later. This is what I would call gold standard care.nIf only all hospitals were this friendly and efficient.
Brilliant service. We went this morning with my elderly mother in law with dementia whose catheter had come out. We didn’t have an appointment and the receptionist quickly got us a nurse Kirsty who went out of her way to sort it for us. So kind patient and thorough. Lovely place and so good it’s got parking too.
This place is amazing. I know everyone is under pressure but the difference between this hospital or a 10 hour wait in Derby A&E is just night and day. They’ve been so accommodating to us a couple of times over the last month. My daughter was seen last night and x-rayed first thing this morning. The staff are so friendly and kind, and the receptionists bend over backwards to make things work in an otherwise frustratingly rigid system. Thank you so much.
Outstanding small local hospital which is a credit to the NHS, easy to get to in car or on bus. Large carpark for visitors thats just been extended. Good A and E department and no long waits to be seen. The premises are clean and tidy and staff are brilliant
