Always expensive so only use for top ups. Bought salad yesterday, shelf edge said buy salad dressing half price with salad so I did. Got charged price on shelf edge, no explanation as to whether that was the half price or what the full price was, very misleading. Till assistant said she'd credited me on my points for half price - odd thing to say as points clearly showed total of what I'd paid. Gave up trying, I've found assistants often have trouble answering questions. Other supermarkets clearly show half price offers taken off your till receipt. I only use the Post Office regularly, the staff in there are very good.

Update 7.7.24. Bf had a lovely tasty breakfast the lady who served us was a delight and chatted to us Always plenty of products i need! Had food in the cafe was fab the lady who served us was very friendly atmosphere very pleasant.x

We’ve been going to shop at Co-op for many years now. Good quality food, clean shop, friendly staff and we always pop into the cafe for a cappuccino and a cake or meal.  They are always working with the local community to help those in need. Well done.

First place l visit when visiting the town,they do a nice breakfast cob and espresso.

Tried the cafe for the first time today as a family group of 5, the lovely ladies serving handled it very well especially considering it was a Sunday. The food was freshly cooked & really well too which came as a suprise as supermarket cafe food is normally average at best. The The wait time was quite quick, I saw them have to fetch more chilli for my jacket potato off the store floor & I appreciate that effort when some other places would just have come out & said sorry no chilli. Kids declared this the best place in England for chips high praise indeed! Total cost for all including our drinks was £21 I consider this great value will definitely be visiting again

Quite expensive, but good quality food. The staff are kind to the old people there which is nice to see.

Went into shop  day for a few food item and visited the cash machine and it was disgusting looks like it hasn't been cleaned in many months refuse to use and walked to Nationwide bank which I can new would be clean the staff at our local Nationwide are excellent and keep the cash machine in good working  clean order

Myself and the wife use this store maybe not so much after yesterday daily for bits n bobs. Yesterday our purchases were scanned notice I’ve not used the word ‘served’ by a petulant, sour faced young ‘lady’ called Fern. As she served those in front of us there was not one please or thank you, she was verging on aggressive in my opinion, either that or she just didn’t want to be there and boy was she letting everyone know. She spat out a demand for payment and I had to check her…. ‘Do you mean £xx.xx PLEASE?’ There was no response other than an angry glare. I repeated myself, she maintained the glare. This was followed with a very disgruntled ‘Do you want the receipt’ I replied NO THANK YOU with the emphasis on thank you, again met by an angry glare. I’ll be getting in touch with the Co-op by email this person is absolutely not fit for the job she’s doing. 1/10 for customer service and relations

Very good selection of food and other items the factory shop is all so located in the far end off the co op as well  offering a good selection off clothing and footwear and gardening materials and electrical products  e c t well worth a look a round  cheers everyone Brian
