I have 2 sons at Ursuline Prep School Ilford. One started from Nursery and the other from year 2. In terms of academics, they are outstanding. They challenge them and improves the children's confidence and independence. They also instill in them character building. I don't know how the nursery teachers do it but they are very great at it. They get to have a great foundation and preping them for their reception years and beyond. Also with KS2, the teachers are outstanding.
My two attend Ursuline Prep School Ilford. They both love. My second daughter was very shy when she started but she has settled and enjoys school and her classmates. Her Nursery teacher are wonderful, they have helped her gain confidence in such a short time despite lockdown. My older daughter loves the school and her friends.
We have 2 children at Ursuline Prep, our eldest is in year 1 and the younger child in Nursery. The transition from early year's into KS was extremely smooth and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The nursery teachers in particle are very good. Very loving and enthusiastic, our son has learnt so much in such a short amount of time. Special shout out to Miss Sear and Miss Sheely. Our children love attending breakfast and after school club.
We have been sending our daughter to the nursery since the age of 3 and our experience has been fantastic. She has developed so much during her time there. We especially love the Tapestry facility and weekly newsletter which enables us to get regular and weekly updates on both our child and the nursery cohorts development. We have now decided to continue with Ursuline Prep and send her to Reception as well.
I looked carefully at local independent school options in Ilford for my Son. I am very pleased with my final choice of Ursuline Prep. Their fee includes hot meals and breakfast/after school clubs which the school is run really well. Highly recommended to all parents in Ilford/local areas
The school is horrible, they only teach about English, maths or religion, and we only do one topic on religious every year, they barely taught about other subjects, including the important science, also, they got all their teaching stuff online. Its a private school, I expect more. The food was abhorrent, the chicken wasn't cooked properly, they are lucky that no one died, at lunch we couldn't run around and play and we couldn't go out without a cap. Also Key stage 2s get blamed on everything, even when the nursery pees on the floor, they blame it on the key stage 2s! Lastly, at after school club, a teacher put boogers in the food and they had the audacity to raise the prices.
Superb! Both my grandchildren go to the Ursuline Prep Ilford and I am staggered by the standard of Education they are both receiving. During Lockdown they were taught online for most of the day by their teacher and they had plenty of work. I looked after them so their parents, Key Workers could work and I learned so much! I cannot praise the school enough.
This is wonderful independent school where the Teachers & staff support the children in all subjects.
AVOID! Do not act on the best interest of the children and their only objective is MONEY!!
