"Located in the small Essex village of Cressing, Il Salice Italian restaurant is housed in a listed former Inn, lovingly restored by us. It dates back some 500 years and comes complete with original oak beams and fire places as you’d expect.The menu offered is the culmination of 25 years experience and long stays in the various regions of Italy. Our goal is to bring to your table very traditional dishes which rely on simplicity, taste, flavour and genuine Italian ingredients to make them outstanding. As all our food is produced by us from raw ingredients, we know exactly what’s in it. Without an additive in sight it not only tastes good but does you good! Be sure to try our homemade desserts!"
