Excellent friendliest staff, really great food, cozy romantic atmosphere, and parking outside. Great value for such good quality too! Highly recommend. I had goats cheese bruschetta & a prawn pasta in photos. Their tiramasu is to die for Yum!!
Fabulous restaurant, I hadn't been here in a few years and still as good as ever. We came here last Tuesday for our daughter's confirmation dinner. Food and service excellent and very reasonable prices. Thank you Aldo and all the gang :
I took my boyfriend there for his 30th birthday. The atmosphere was beautiful, it looked very fancy and there was parking directly opposite. The prices were reasonable for how fancy it looked, some takeaways are more expensive. Now for the negatives: two of the three people who looked after our table were very condescending, one was nice. We are not the richest people, which you can probably see, so it seems like they thought we didn't deserve respectful behaviour. Although one of the three was very nice and had humour and good soft skills. The pizza was slightly better than the frozen one from Aldi, but not by much. I can recommend it if you're rich and don't mind average food as long as the place looks fancy. Is there better pizza in Athlone? I don't know, so you have to try it for yourself.

Amazing food. Beautiful warm clean and welcoming. Great choice on the menu and very reasonably priced for the quality of dishes. Staff seems to get on really well together and was some nice banter going on between them. Fabulous experience will be back soom
Stumbled on to this place when staying at the Sheraton Athlone. Walked into town and was unable to get a table because it was so busy always a good sign!. Came back a couple of nights later and had one the best meals of my life. Everything was amazing! From the charm and ambiance of the restaurant to the incredible food! Friendly service and didn't break the bank. Would go out of my way to come here if I visit Ireland again. You might want to call for reservations so you don't miss out!!

I dined here on a very busy Friday evening just before Xmas and I really thought the service would suffer. But it was the opposite. The place was packed but the service was outstanding! A really beautiful venue with truly exceptional food. The pasta dishes here are not just delicious but are works of ART!! Definitely the best italian restaurant I have been in anywhere in the world. You may think my words are a little dramatic, but this is truly how I felt. I cannot recommend it higly enough.
An excellent authentic italian restaurant owned by an italian. Plenty of food to choose from the menu including pasta in different many ways cooked, great variety of pizzas, steaks, fish and poultry dishes also available. Food is delicious! Good selection of wines including the house red! Ensure to book your table in advance as it is a very busy place all year round!
Lovely evening, food always good mains good starters ok, however I can't help but feel the lack of customer service its more about getting bums on seats and having a packed restaurant which is great for them I think because they know they get most of the business in athlone they don't need to try anymore? For me I want the entire package including friendliness and customer service when I paying well over 120 euros for a meal. And it's not the young lad who takes orders he is very polite it's the chap that always in white who seats you, a simple good evening how are you would be a good start. However, if you not bothered about that the mains are very nice, I would use maybe when less busy on a Thursday night otherwise its be prepared.for not such an enjoyable evening as you won't even hear yourself.
