Story

Situated in Old Town, the heart of Swindon's lively night life, Il Capricorno Ristorante is the perfect location for dining whatever your requirements; a quiet meal for two; a family occasion; a corporate event; or any celebration, we can guarantee that you will have a pleasurable dining experience. This family run restaurant was established in 1998 by Giovanni Caruso who originates from Calabria in Southern Italy. His aim was to produce traditional Italian dishes created from fresh, quality ingredients, available at reasonable prices. Consequently, we can offer a unique blend of traditional Italian hospitality, excellent food, fine wines and imported Italian beers. We can't guarantee the sunshine but once you are enjoying your experience you could almost be in Italy!

Lovely place for lunch, good prices and fantastic food. Would recommend.

Used to be a little better before

Guaranteed a good meal here, never had a bad one. A friendly, family atmosphere. It's recently changed hands so let's hope they keep the same values that we've grown to love.

Lovely food.  Traditional Italian. And absolutely fantastic customer service. Always checking on you and making sure everyone had drinks. Decore is a little outdated but don't let that put you off. Will be going back with friends for sure 

An excellent place to eat ,food is amazing and the staff are excellent. 110% Recommended

Excellent service, freshly cooked tasty food lovely ambience.

Large restaurant. Somewhat dated interior. However food was good. Attentive waiting staff. Would have much more appeal if the interior was refurbished
