I think IKEA takes itself too seriously its a shop not a way of life. However it does offer some excellent storage solutions and is packed full of those things you never knew you wanted It also has the biggest display of fake plants I've seen....who buys them? The cafe is good and who can resist Swedish meatballs
Great range of homeware. Pretty much everything you can think of. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant at a very reasonable price. Most of the staff are really friendly. Just let down by a certain staff member that brushed off our question about finding a certain item. Just about managed to point in a vague direction.
Store well located within the Giltbrook Retail Park. Step free access, parking and entrance. Creche for the little ones is free. Restaurant with views. Good furniture options from lights to wardrobes, kitchenware, storage and many more. Swedish shop has a variety of produce from frozen meatballs to desserts. It can get busy at peaks times. Good access to M1.
Bed fell apart but in the past they have been good with returning stuff but they seem to have adopted a very hostile returns policy. Yes, your bed will end up back in the large returns section of the store on a trolley with hostile staff making sure that you never buy from them again.
This is one of the best IKEA stores, plenty of parking spaces! Very friendly and welcoming staff! The restaurant staff is great and friendly,; the food is always well prepared! Coffee machines here do need some upgrades, the low water pressure and often break down! The flow of the designs displays area is okay but there’s some area in the market hall does get a bit too crowded during the weekends! Overall is a nice IKEA outlet to visit
Quality of food went downhill. Shocking how people are happy to eat in such a mess. Dirty and messy everywhere and no one to tidy up all litter or wipe the table .
Personally I hate having to walk around the whole place for one thing that is near the end. I did find parking okay, but it was busy so spaces limited. The shop was clean, and had a good variety of items, but I was only there to get my grandson a cuddly toy for his birthday, so I found it tedious walking round, especially as I suffer with my back.
Absolutely wonderful store! Restaurant was really lovely, bistro was brilliant. But what made it was the extremely helpful staff both in the Restaurant/Bistro and in the store. As someone with allergy concerns, Restaurant staff was very considerate and helpful in navigating what could be had. Store staff was even more helpful, nothing was too much bother for them to help with. Especially Jo who was working at the Reuse furniture section, she helped me get an item I had missed while navigating through the store and brought it all the way back to me! Even collecting my item, the staff was very helpful and brought it out on a spare trolley. Many thanks to the 5* staff and will visit again!!!
Replacement pole delivered within 3 days all good .....but really could you not find a smaller box ?
Went to Ikea 24.07.24 to the parts department. I had a wardrobe draw that was in pieces and missing parts. I was kindly helped by Jake or Jack was called his manager Joanna. Who quickly got the parts that were needed and swiftly put the draw together. Thank you both kindly was for a great service.
