This is the first small format Ikea that I have been to, and I was very pleasantly surprised. As with the large format Ikea shops, this small version is also hard to navigate even the floor map inside the shop is confusing!.nnDespite the smaller size, there is a good range of products, and they have utilised the space really well, to cram a lot of products inside. Though it's smaller than a standard sized Ikea, the shop is by no means small; there are 2 large floors selling an enormous variety of products. There is a nice cafe inside, which offers seating. There is also second cafe which offers takeaway food, such as drinks, hot dogs etc.nnOther facilities at this branch are click and collect lockers, where you can collect items which you bought online from Ikea. Also, there are lots of help screens throughout the shop, which you can use to search for products and find more information about them.nnI found this to be a great place to shop. It was clean, tidy, well stocked and as a first for Ikea, there were plenty of staff available to help! I needed support from a staff member, and was impressed by how friendly, helpful and knowledgeable he was.nnCompared to the larger branches of Ikea, I actually preferred shopping here, as it felt far less chaotic and was easier to find what I was looking for. Payment was also quick and easy, as there were plenty of self-service tills. It's a great place to shop and I will definitely return!
I really like shopping here, the store provides wide range of products to fill our house, and also we can buy food, drinks, snacks, ice cream our favourite, etc.nThe products are displayed perfectly, the showroom are also great.nnHaving a meal at the cafe is also nice, with good food, good drinks, and good price.nnSockets for charging are available at the cafe.nToilets for customers are available.
happened to be in the vicinity and wished to sample the hot food menu; however, it appeared to be quite crowded. I will need to visit on a day when I am less occupied, allowing me to select a few items and enjoy them afterwards.
The Ikea restaurant mainly featuring Swedish cuisine. The pasta with sauce is good, as are the salmon lasagna. The meatballs with mashed potatoes and red sauce with lingonberries are excellent, as are the vegetarian ones with quinoa and vegetables. The salmon fillet with peas is excellent. Absolutely excellent quality/price ratio. Perfect for families.
Deliberate deception and total customer neglect – IKEA Hammersmith Bistro is a disgrace.nnWhat happened at the IKEA Hammersmith bistro wasn’t just poor service – it was a calculated attempt to make things look efficient while customers were left frustrated and ignored.nnThe staff member behind the counter was blatantly misusing the digital order display system by marking every order as “ready” immediately after it was placed – even though nothing had been prepared yet. This wasn’t a mistake. It wasn’t confusion. It was clearly done to create the illusion of fast service – likely so it looks good to management.nnMeanwhile, actual customers were left standing around, confused and irritated, watching their order number stay on the screen for ten or fifteen minutes while no food was being handed out. No communication, no explanation – just silent chaos and disinterest.nnThis kind of behavior is dishonest and insulting. It shows zero respect for the people paying for the food, and it undermines trust in the brand. IKEA should seriously investigate this location’s operations, because what’s happening here is not just inefficient – it’s deceptive.nnAvoid this bistro entirely unless you enjoy being lied to while you wait endlessly for cold food and fake efficiency.
