The peoples furniture store. Just off the M6 Jct 9 so ideal for anyone to get to if living in the greater West Midlands area. Nice huge car park that is free. Click and collect is to the far side on the right as you drive in with bays marked out for collection. You cant miss the store with its Swedish style colouring of yellow and blue. There is everything to suit all kinds of budgets and styles and fashions. Wether you live in a bedsit or a mansion there is something for everyone and the quality is second to none. Returns policy is straight forward and I have never had an issue. Get there early, enjoy a leisurely breakfast very cheap and lovely food and amble through the store at your own pace, there are always fab displays and ideas and things you weren't expecting so do look in all the nooks and crannies for ideas. The peoples furniture store is a 1 stop shop for all your needs you wont be disappointed.
I love This Place And the kids love it too It's like an alternative family day out when it's raining and we just love the food here. So yeah, it's an alternative place to eat as well. Teenagers are so fussy about food but, no issues here. It's not as cheap as it used to be and the cheese cake wasn't as good as I remember but overall we had a great time.
Purchased a kitchen. Delivered and installation started 13th December. Parts that were missing i had to order. They charged me delivery charge which i got back. Still waiting for a bin. All going well until the electrician arrived and damaged units and left me with one plug socket, they also cut the plug off my washer/dryer so now the 10 year warranty is void. Not even had it a year . Work tops i ordered have still not emerged. I have complained to ikea and the response so far has been appalling. Now nearly February and still the kitchen has not been finished. Nothing about work tops or electrics. Not happy with corner cupboards at all due to gaps. As i paid for installation from ikea to get the warranty i feel that it is their job to rectify these issues. This kitchen with installation and new electric box cost me £12600. Would you be happy.
Brilliant for people who r looking for new ideas in regards with furniture, bathrooms or kids rooms. Has a huge parking, lovely cafeteria with delicious breakfast and beverages. Definitely recommend.
Avoid Ikea Kitchens! So paid over £10,000 for my kitchen from ikea in Wednesbury, took me several years to save for and as I had always had great experience with IKEA thought they would be the best choice to purchase and install my kitchen, how wrong could I be! Work started a day after I was promised, and it was a basic part set up before the worktops were arriving from an outsourced company, when the worktop arrived they said the legs ikea supplied were not fit for purpose to hold the weight of the worktops overhang, so they left items underneath to make them temporarily safe and told me to contact Ikea. That was the second week in May. Since then I have phoned multiple times, emailed multiple times and no one returns calls, when they do I explain the situation they say they will look into it, and then all goes quiet. This has been the most stressful experience of my life and I have a half finished kitchen which I cannot use. I cannot afford to get someone else in to rectify the issue and complete the works and Ikea still do not contact me, and there is no end in sight. STAY CLEAR OF IKEA KITCHENS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT THEY WILL NOT DELIVER.
The mecca of flat pack furniture and meatballs. Oh what joy, 16 succulent Swedish meatballs accompanied with perfectly cooked chips, let's be honest it's the main reason to go to IKEA. Felt obliged to buy a £5 table whilst there, friendly staff at the self service check out. Watch out for the snakes in the toy department, they can be a little feisty.
Nice superstore got a bit lost it's that big.has everything you need for every room in your house,a one stop shop for your home.
IKEA shopping experience is a different level from other stores. There are so many great ideas on display and some great deals. The store isn't a place for a quick pop-in, to truly appreciate what is on offer you need at least half a day to walk through their well designed display. You will walk away with some great ideas even if you managed not to buy anything. For anyone doing house refurbishment or renovation, it is a must visit place.
Really good. Ordered my products on line for collection late on Friday night and was able to rock up Saturday to the collection marquee, with a parking space and everything was already ready and waiting. Only down side was the email for my collection slot to arrive between 10am and 12pm wasn't sent until 11.06am. Otherwise a great service that negates the need to do battle with the walking dead who have all day to wander aimlessly, which I do like to do on rare occasions but this is such a doddle.
I ordered online and went to the store to collect. They sent instructions via SMS and email. There is a designated Click & Collect car park and waiting area, all sign posted. You then get your text saying 'enter the canvas tent to pick up your order' after you click 'check in' on your email, though sometimes it will say that staff will bring it out to your car . Brilliant . All very easy and convenient. I also nipped into the store to pick up a few bits. Lovely store, lovely staff and not overly busy, so Wednesday is a good time to visit . There are toilets plus disabled, a restaurant, cafe eat in or take out and plenty of places to sit and chill if it all gets too much. Try their hotdogs .An enjoyable day .
