Visited today with my son to buy him a new board for his birthday. The guys were so friendly and helpful. All three teenagers with me were treated so well and given lots of helpful advice. Will definitely be back.

Went in here last week to pick up a decent starter board. Was looking to build one originally but when I said I was just starting out the shopkeeper didn't try to push expensive products on me, he described in detail what the starter boards were like and how they'll suit me, and that was great. Wasn't pressured into buying anything I didn't want, and walked out with a brand new pre built board and I love it! Will absolutely be coming back for all my skateboarding needs in future from now on! Thanks for the help in starting me off on my potentially painful journey!!!

The next time I visit my family in brum I will definitely be stopping by here. I ordered a hoodie online on the Sunday and by Wednesday morning it had arrived. Beat Asos premier that’s for sure! The hoodie even came with a discount which was great. The fit is also perfect, I was worried it would be too big. I am very pleased, thank you!

We placed an order with ideal on a Sunday, not long before they were closing. I thought that we would be waiting around a week for delivery. The next thing I know there's a knock at the door and the owner of ideal not sure of his name is at my door with the deck, trucks, grip tape etc. How amazing is that for service. Bought a pair of skate shoes here and was very impressed with the service!  Owner at the time had a broken arm but was super helpful in helping me try a few pairs on and get the perfect fit!  Very knowledgeable about skating and.riding in Brum...will be coming back here for my next pair of shoes as he has brands/styles not available elsewhere in the region!!

I was after a skateboard with a specific budget in mind, and ideally wanted to pick out components that had certain characteristics. Was helped through the whole process and put together a board that was in budget, the benefits of each of the components were explained, he answered any questions I had. Really happy with the board and would definitely recommend the store. All in all a great experience.

I have always felt welcome in Ideal. Not only do they provide great quality products and excellent service, they have also nurtured and supported the skateboarding scene in Birmingham since 1991! I recently bought a new deck and was so happy that they had stocked it, as I couldn't find it anywhere else. Fantastic service and product, as always!
