Peaceful garden with nature right at the top of the agenda: pond area, herb garden, veg plots, bee hives, flowers etc. Very calming place to spend time. We took a picnic and sat on one of the many benches dotted around the garden. There are refreshments available to buy too. Volunteers and staff very friendly and helpful. Check opening times as these can vary.
What an absolute gem. Hidden behind a quiet door is a real garden oasis. The team of volunteers who have put in many hours of work have created something very special. The garden is packed with colour, fruits and flowers. Absolutely fabulous.
Wonderful place to come walk around sit to have tea coffee on a wednesday and friday lunch is Wonderful Tuesday are best not to come as adults with mental health issues come to have a quiet time and do a course towards nvq Restrooms: Tiny children play area great for young mums and children. Be aware that there is a pond and poeple whom go regularly arent the child minders that goes to grandparents Dog-friendliness: All dogs are welcome but have to be kept on leads we afterall have to repest nervous poeple and nervous dogs Picnic area: Can come in with picnic beware to take your rubbish with you we like to respect and encourage wildlife.
Great place to go and visit and learn how grow different herbs and fruits. Dog-friendliness: Saw dogs there with their owners and place you sit and eat the food. It was my first time visiting the community garden. I am just visiting Kent and sight seeing guided by the families that leave in Kent. Wonderful place.

This space is special for finding inner peace. I have been abused in my church and escape from hell and i call this place my happy place to listen to birds sit by the pond join in with groups. I never want to leave its also good for young mums to.

I attended a daylong conference in the garden. Lovely peaceful space, apart from the sound of voices of people in the garden I was constantly surrounded by birdsong. Just a few steps from the town centre on market day.
