I have found the reception staff extremely helpful. The whole building has been renovated and has dedicated clinical rooms and a whole purpose built layout. The whole practice is very well managed. Dr Parastou has been extremely helpful and the practice manager as well. It seems as if the management is putting a lot of effort and this is evident from the service. Keep up the good work!!!
Dr. Parastous is by the best doctor I have come across in my lifetime. She is unique because she can demystify medical ailments and illnesses and reassure you. She always takes the time to maintain eye contact and console you. Her advice is always very clear and incisive. Her manner with patients is exemplary.nShe is also very calm and forbearing. She can always defuse volatile patients.
I have been with this surgery for many years now and on the whole they have handled all my health complaints very well.nnYes, the usual wacky races telephone system is in place still if you don't wish to use E-Consult, but it has been upgraded and keeps you up to date with where you are in the Queue.nnI had reason to call the surgery today and the receptionist made sure I got seen on the same day by a lovely Doctor - Dr Omoniyi - who was extremely thorough and patient. I felt that he took my concerns seriously and helped to allay my fears over a bit of a worry that I had developed a chest infection.nnI know this surgery has been a mixed bag for some but I think they have made huge improvements in recent years and I particularly like the option of choosing whether to call, or use E-Consult.nnThank you Ibstock/Barlestone surgery.
I have been a patient at this surgery for over 5 years, I have found the reception staff very efficient and very helpful when booking an appointment with a GP. The GP staff here are very thorough and clearly have their patients best interests at heart and nothing is ever to much to ask.
If I could put less than 1 I would. Had an appointment for 10:02 this morning for my annual flu jab. When I reach there the queue, well there must have over 60 people waiting outside. I eventually left the surgery having had my flu jab at 11:55. The demographic of this queue were older residents, some with crutches, some with other walking aids. This is disgraceful and whoever is responsible for the management of this event should apologise to all those residents who waited so long.
