A great selection of books. It's a pity to learn the owners have decided to take a backseat but there is no defeating father time. I hope they will continue to carefully select the best books, subjects and authors, modern literature has to offer.
Browsed with 22 year old grandson. Both enjoyed the visit, interesting
Great local bookshop. Seems like there's new books on show at window every time I pass. Nice range of birthday cards etc for sale too. Support your local trader.
Great customer service. Helpful and knowledgeable, with useful recommendations. Efficient ordering service. Stocks an excellent, diverse, all-embracing range of books for a small shop.
Lovely bookshop. Easy layout. Lots of choice.
Bad news first: if you're looking for Amazon like discounts and a cosy coffee shop, this is not the place for you. This place is, first and foremost, a plain and simple bookshop. The good news is that this bookshop is dog friendly our dog seems to remember which corner the dog toy box sits and that a dog biscuit might be offered, and the curating of "customers who bought this item also bought" beats Amazon hands down and means that I'm always popping in to see what's new.
This is my local bookshop and it has retained that sense of independence so lacking in the high street. The proprietors clearly read the reviews in the better quality press so the selection of books is both eclectic but also personal, local and refreshingly idiosyncratic. They also stock CDs and DVDs. Much to recommend.
A treasure trove of great books and beautiful, stylish greeting cards. Amazing selection of quality children's books also. If you enjoy books or know someone who does this is a must visit shop.
Lovely space browse and yes they did have the latest Val McDermid title! Ditch Amazon and support your local bookshop
This is my favourite Glasgow bookshop, with a great selection of interesting books and films and some lovely cards and wrapping paper. It is a small bookshop, but the staff will order books for you. It is also dog friendly.
