Very very incredible place, you have such icons here such as Mr Yewman, Mr Kale and ofc who could forget Mr Shepard a fan favourite these people are so iconic and must be praised with the up most respect. The huxlow sorcerers are an elite group of people who are working in huxlow undercover! They have mysterious powers of which we know frighteningly little about! Cannot wait for part 2 when my children will attend and see the story develop. I have enjoyed the amazing experience with these wonderful people especially the time when Mr Yewman was only Yewman after all. Overall 10/10 masterpiece would recomend.
Generally a good school. Does like to support gifted children with in my opinion a little less commitment to average kids. Overall the schools doing OK but teachers may need to 'listen' to kids who are struggling to meet expectations rather than being more concerned with pupils having the necessary equipment to participate in lesson's surely some of the schools budget should be available for pens pencils rulers etc. Or perhaps even having a subsidised stationary outlet on site for those kids that need it. Rather than mandatory detentions.
The school has multiple good and terrible aspects. In terms of school trips, canteen food and the large variety of curricular activities it’s great. Although this is largely downplayed by the terrible factors. As the old generation of teachers leave, discipline is widely left in shambles and classrooms become chaotic and off topic. Many teachers do their job while many share their un-impartial views on modern day issues. Kids are subjected to politicisation in classrooms, being taught “LGBTTQQIAAP” and other absurdist view points in the name of “Diversity and Inclusion.” Overall there are many great aspects, but Huxlow needs to improve to become a great school. It's actually horrible never and I mean never go there. People are toxic, teachers are horrible etc. Doesn't even deserve a star.
Son really likes it there but does get annoyed when others cause distraction in class as he likes challenging work.
Nice place to hold events at outside of regular school hours.
