I haven't been to this pool hall for years. Well it's still standing and popular as ever. We booked a 2 hour slot and that was a decent amount of time for a good few games. The staff are really helpful and cheerful. This makes all the difference. Really happy we chose to drop in last night.
Can get pretty crowded which is the only thing I can knock it for. Good bar arrangement with nice staff and an outside area to sit at. No arguments, you might wanna book on the busier days like Friday
My friend group have always been regulars as we always meet here for a night out, the past few times we’ve had a few problems with the same member of staff. This recent time was unacceptable, we all met for a friends birthday, one of us had brought him a gift of a pack of shots, a few of us decided to take the shots at our table along with drinks we bought at the establishment. We’ve done this before and none of us were aware until now that they don’t accept outside foods or drinks, despite all of us visiting dozens of times. The empty shots were on the table and a member of staff who has always been unfriendly to us and always had a bad attitude came and told us that we couldn’t have them, which we all immediately were apologetic. Around 45 seconds later he came back and told us the manager was kicking us out, he never explained or gave us any warning, just immediately told to leave. It’s been fun over the years but this employee has ruined this place for us and we’re finding a new starting location for our get togethers. Also the food menu doesn’t have fries???
Inconsistent ID policy, been coming here two years and now they decide to ID for just a snooker table, which I didn't bring as I wasn't drinking. Wouldn't care if it was a consistent thing but if your going to have rules at least enforce more than when you can be bothered. Grotty horrible place anyway.
Great atmosphere but the tables and cues are in pretty bad state and need to be maintained better, a few didn't work when I put money in them. Snooker tables are ok but tables are not cleaned nor cloths brushed. Still had a good time and staff friedly just state of equipment lets the place down a bit.
Very dirty pool tables . This should be maintained all the time but the tables are in horrible shape. This is good for somebody who doesn't know how to play pool or snooker. OK beer , good area . If the pool tables were maintained, I would give 4 stars .
Was here for a night out with Andy's Man Club, It was jam-packed, with every table occupied. Luckily, We'd booked 2 tables for our members, and with a few drinks in hand, We All enjoyed a great evening of banter and pool. If I had any criticism of "Hustler's" would be, 1 that the Gent's Toilets were DISGUSTING, in that there was paper towels strewn over the piss soaked floor, and the toilet I used had poor water pressure, to flush away the faeces, and 2 the baize covering was in need of a re-cover, as the felt was dirty, holed, and stained. A Good venue, but, needs a makeover.
Great place to play some pool or snooker. Friendly staff and was very busy when I was there but lots of tables. I would say though the condition of some tables was quite bad with some rips which isn’t great… but overall a great place, hope you can just fix up the tables in need of some care.
Great place atmospheres good as is the food and resonablely priced drinks.
I am 18 years old and came here with my younger brother and before we could start playing pool we were kicked out. The employee told us that a parent or guardian was needed despite me telling him that i was 18 years old. They completely wasted our time.
