Been going here for years and it's always been amazing service. Good selection of your typical beers, ciders and spirits. Shots are available although the place is very much more suited for a casual drink and a few games of pool with your mates. You can find a table with ease even on busy nights and the cost per game is either £1 or 70p, change is readily available at the bar which you can also throw in the jukebox which has a decent selection of music although it could do with being updated nowadays. Overall I have been going for years and will be continuing to do so, fantastic place for drinks and pool. There is also more tables for different games and a more relaxed social area to sit down with tables, there is also a air hockey table and darts there to play aswell.
Best Snooker/Pool8 ball place I've been too, it would be better if pool tables were by the hour as well.
Busy place driven by nights out trade. Standard British pool tables open, £1 / game for the 'good' tables 70p for the 'bad'. The good ones aren't terrible, but worn, stained with spillages, in need of a clean and in the tables I played, had a slight roll though not terrible from one side to the other. Space was cramped, with many occasions where I had to ask people to move or wait for them to play a shot. Main improvement I'd suggest would be more seating and Chelsea hooks under the drinks rests on the columns to hold people's coats unsurprisingly nobody wanted to put theirs on the floor, so everyone is standing as the seats are coats storage. I wanted full size white balls to practice for tournament pool, but all the British pool tables have the small white balls consistent with their pay per play design. Snooker tables were in much better condition, especially good baize and cushioning, but evidence of a lack of attention, including missing hooks to hold rests/cues/triangles. They had an L-shaped table but had patched rips in the baize, so clearly badly treated. Mens toilets in a similar state of lack of care. American pool tables looked OK, but didn't try. Go if you want to have a few fun games with friends. Open late.
If you enjoy buying a drink and then being shouted at to move with no indication of where you're supposed to move this is the place for you! Not sure if a marriage had broken down and they decided customers were the ones to take it out on but truly some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Huge number of well maintained pool, American pool and snooker tables, plus loads of dartboards. Good bar and snack food. Equipment storage for members.
Brilliant little gem in Newcastle, easily accessible from the city highstreet. It's a little bit of a climb depending on which way you approach it. Reasonably priced pool tables means you can enjoy plenty of games without it costing a fortune. The bar has a nice selection too, and comes complete with friendly staff. Rated 3* only due to the tables occasionally not spitting out all of the balls and no adequate toilet facilities Mens room stalls have no locks/no lights

A very nice place to play pool at night
Me and my partner have been going to Hustlers since the old school days back when it was at Leo's, and I've always respected the staff and the establishment. However, last night I ordered Nacho's and it got delivered to the wrong table, then when I asked one of the staff members collecting glasses he instantly got on the defensive with me, and told me that I basically just need to wait like everyone else, without first hearing what I had to say. I wasn't at all giving him attitude, I was polite and I showed him respect, but he clearly was in a bad mood with how busy it was and it got taken out on me. I then approach the guy who delivered my plate to the wrong table, I can only describe him as looking like the guy from Foo Fighters "No dig intended, I'm a fan" and once again I felt like I was being met with attitude, then he reluctantly told me he would go check for me and left me waiting whilst he served several other people. Made me feel like an utter mug. Luckily this got resolved when the table next to us realised they didn't order jalapeno's on their Nacho's and returned the plate 10minutes later to my girlfriend untouched, whilst I was at the bar trying to get things resolved. had this not of happened, I'd of been down in pocket and made feel like a complete Karen, for not receiving my plate of ordered food. I'm not going to bash you with a 1star rating, because I simply know all too well what it must be like on a busy day, but come on guys, don't make people feel like their just being entitled without first looking up the reason, I was more than polite and understanding and I wasn't showing any malice, that in its self should've shown I wasn't being entitled and expecting minute fast service on a busy day. I've tried to show as much humility here as possible, because I don't think I'm better than anyone, I just wanted to be met with the same level of respect I gave out, and I felt a little mentally defeated in the end.
I personally didn't know about this place till recently, cheap drinks and cheaper games of pool 70 pence! A large selection of pool & snooker tables plus dartboards! Sports on TV too. Great!
