We stayed at this site for a single night on route further north and found the staff welcoming and helpful. The site was clean and tidy, divided into smaller groups of pitches each with its own playpark in the centre and its own toilet block. The toilets were clean and warm and are closed for an hour and deep cleaned daily. A short walk through the trees takes you to the river, which you can follow into town for a pleasant walk. A pleasant stay, and we hope to return this year. Nearby activities: A short walk along the river leads to the outdoor activity centre, and a large playpark. There is also a nearby bird of prey centre which is worth a visit if in the area.

We stayed at the caravan park last week for the first time in 4 years due to covid etc and it did not disappoint! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It’s a great location for you to have peace and quiet but still walking distance to all local amenities. Our caravan was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you we can’t wait to book for next year!
Nice kept site a credit to the staff.very good location and walks from the site with a castle ruin to visit which was superb. For me the only downside was the pitches could have been a bit bigger and a bit more distance to the next pitch. But all in all beautiful site that I would use again
We hadn't stayed at this Caravan Club Affiliated site before but three nights here to enable us to see friends in the area was just the ticket. Access is very easy and the site is secluded and private despite it being close to the town. There are several pitching areas and pitches are generally level. Toilet blocks are very clean and modern inside. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our pitch. It was sheltered which was good because it got quite windy one night. Worth staying here for the lovely area of Aberdeenshire. Unfortunately Huntly is looking rundown these days, due mainly to Tesco and Asda setting up shop on the outskirts of town.
We've just had 2 nights at this site. Its just a bit sad and rundown. The pitches are a good size and flat. The showers took a while to warm up and the shower block was freezing. There's some good walks from the site, to the castle and the town. There are no dog pooh bins anywhere, so they have to go in the general waste bins on the site. The site is not secure at all and anyone can access it. It could be lovely with some money and TLC.
Really close to town but set far enough away that it still feels like a campsite. The toilets were spotless. Check in was helpful and friendly. Great, interesting dog walks direct from site. Recommended!Service: 5/5
Excellent site. Tidy and clean. 7 min walk to town. Half a mile walk to the castle along the river. Large Asda and Tesco. Bus stop to Aberdeen about half a mile. or get off at Inverurie Good range of shops in Inverurie too.Service: 5/5
Gorgeous site, relaxing, friendly staff and with great clean facilities. It's lovely to hear so many birds and watch the rabbits running around. Site is in a situated really close to the town, which is really lovely and also close to the castle. Will definitely return.
