The site is nice enough, the toilets do need updating but not the worst we have been too.. However the A14 is too much. We were at the furthest point away from the A14 and still couldn't sleep. Nothing the owners can do obviously, but just one to think about before booking.

Lovely friendly campsite and marine, great walks and dog friendly. They have a dog field so you can let your dogs off. It's in walking distance of god Manchester and Huntingdon. Owners are very helpful. The A14 is very close, but the noise from it becomes back ground noise. Showers and toilets are nice with background music playing. We camped first when we came and loved it so much, we brought a boat and spend lots of time at boatheaven. It's like a second home.

We went for boat hire, the staff was friendly and co-operative. Unfortunately the boat we hired was not working or we somehow didn't make it work, but owners gave us back all the money also apologized for our disappointment. The bathrooms and showers need a bit refurbishment to meet contemporary styles.

Lovely views of the river and that's about it. Grass was kept nicely but toilets and showers are very dated and were not cleaned all weekend with bins full. Water dispensing area also not cleaned and dustbins full, again not emptied for the whole weekend. Very noisy from a14. Not sure how the charges can be justified especially when you then have to pay 25p for a mouldy shower and 20p for a hairdryer so overall a disappointment

Brilliant spot by the river, immaculate campsite and facilities and the boat hire nearby is reasonably priced and great fun.
