Ok so the icecream was massive I mean impressively so however it was not enjoyable atall, so it was bland and tasteless the icecream had ice shards in it which leads me to belive it was either cheap, not sealed properly or has been in the freezer too long. For the cost of the sundae it was a massive let down However the wings were sooooo good!
Visited The Sixfields on a busy Saturday evening. Ali was brilliant, his service was great from start to finish. The food was good and even though it was busy the meals were served in a timely manner.
Well I've read lots of different reviews, but for me personally, my visits have all been positive ones. My latest,. We were greeted and served by various different members of staff, and all of them were polite, friendly, and welcoming. The food we ordered was fab. Hot tasty and well presented. Sorry to hungry to take photos Our eyes being bigger than our bellies requested our pre ordered dessert to be boxed to take home.. again, it's not a problem. We hadn't booked on a Saturday evening but lucky a staff member managed to find us a table. It's true "you get what you pay for," but I have to say, you get plenty here.. very generous portions. High to the staff. All work hard and still smiling. Great place to eat & drink. Thank you. Xx

Came into the pub for lunch with my friends today and was very happy with my visit. The food was hot and service was quick. The lady who served us Carrie had amazing attitude nothing was to much. The lady who bought our food was polite and came to check everything was okay with the meal. Definitely recommend!
Had a great time for my dads birthday, Christian and Ali were very accommodating with bringing my dads cake out and even singing! Good lads very professional. The food was great and the plant based fish is really good. Everything was tiptop!
A group of 8 of us ate here Saturday the 7th of January . The food was horrendous!! Staff forgot to bring out starters, when they were brought at the same time as the mains out they were the wrong ones. chicken wings were barely cooked, steak was overcooked..... like shoe leather, the jerk chicken was barely cooked and then had spices put on after it was cooked... very strange. Looked like everything had been waiting around under hot lamps for ages. everything was dry unseasoned... just nasty. Most of the food was uneaten. They refunded the money for the jerk chicken. Not a crazy amount of people in the pub but they were so understaffed that it took 25 minutes to get a drink when we were the only ones standing at the bar!!!
I have been enjoying the sweet potato & chickpea curry here for many years. Recently l received my curry which looked like a bowl of chickpea soup, no potato whatsoever. When l brought this to the attention of a staff member l was told they had changed their supplier so now the sweet potato & chickpea curry contains no sweet potato! I wonder how many chicken curries they would sell if they left out the chicken. Also, take out the main ingredient & surely it is just curry sauce.
Absolutely the place for a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Lovely very friendly staff with nothing being too much trouble for them, very helpful people. I look forward to my return.
