Nice pub with a beer garden. Decent beer selection why is everything on draught an IPA though?!, but the taco hut in the back of the beer garden is an utter ripoff. It seems reasonably priced at first but they're tiny and just not very good.
Fantastic Beer Garden for the Sunny weather, lovely heaters outside also if needed when it gets chilly, plenty of TV’s outside with sky sports, great for games, thought the ginger beer was a bit pricey only comment on a great pub. will certainly be back throughout the summer!
16 euro for quiet drink? Not just a disgrace for this pub but for prices in general. This will only push people to weatherspoons or to drink at home
Just poped in to use ladies. It had a speakeasy vibe to it the pub. not the loo Youngish drinkers good sounds also....
Almost no alcohol free drinks. Don’t touch the food. The pork smells and tastes like tuna, the tacos have a weird taste and it’s expensive.
Best pub in Ranelagh! Local bar with a great selection of craft beers. The are dog friendly which is so cool. Nicest beer garden in Dublin! And now they serve tacos and my absolute favourite dorilocos. Really good Mexican food
Nice pub for a few pints, menu's are out of date, prices are gone up.
It must be 30+ years since I was last in Humphreys. Had been in the Stella earlier to see a movie, and we decided to walk over to Ranelagh to have a drink. I thought I'd check out one of my old favourites. I used to love this place with its worn sofas scattered with random cushions. Like the living room of some grand old Victorian house sliding into genteel decay. The beautiful old pub front is still there, but the interior is all changed. It's been replaced with a modern functional interior. Lots of televisions around the place showing Wimbledon when we visited. But there was also an annoying soundtrack blasting out over the sound system so you couldn't hear what was on tv anyway. I had a vodka and coke, which came in at €9.20, the vodka making up €6 of that. Likewise, a Capt. Morgan for herself was €6. A bit expensive maybe, but it's Ranelagh! The staff were friendly and chatty, which always helps. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, it's just not the same place I used to love. But nothing stays the same forever!
Tacs place is delicious. The margaritas are Amazing
Lovely outdoor area, the ladies on table service were just fantastic. Genuinely lovely people. The only issue is the food you get out the back is an absolute ripoff. Comically overpriced.
