My husband and I are originally from Hull but we haven't lived there for over 25 years. However, we still regularly visit our families there and had experienced some of the events in the Year of Culture. We were on Humber Street, as we had been for breakfast at Thieving Harry's, and dropped into the gallery on our way back to town. The two exhibitions related to the experience of volunteers during 2017 - Grains of scandalous blue and Big Picture were both well worth a visit. The volunteers at the exhibition were friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. The photographs of the volunteers were fabulous and very well displayed. We both found the exhibition very moving - it was so uplifting and heart warming to see that volunteering had such a positive effect on many of the volunteers. Well worth a visit for both Hullensians and visitors.

Brilliant local gallery which opened during the city of culture year. Already seen so many excellent exhibitions here and expect to see many more in future. Cafe downstairs serves some amazing cakes and makes a mean coffee, and they have a rooftop bar too!

Humber Street Gallery is fabulous. Always lots of exhibitions to see. Check out their website. Or, call in for coffee and a snack and see Dead Bod an iconic piece of Hull artwork. Well worth a visit, lots to do and see in the Old Town of Hull.

Worth repeat visits. Mainly excellent exhibitions. Super tea and coffee. Try the cookies!

First time visiting and was a cool relaxing place. Really like the dead bod art and drinks. The sofa area looked good although I didn't sit on them.
