Hull Pets and Gardens was established in 2004 by Becky and Steve McHugh who have over 30 years of combined experience of keeping and working with a large number of reptiles and other exotics.

We have a Fantastic selection of Reptiles and Exotics including Lizards, Inverts, Snakes, Chelonia and Amphibians as well as quality equipment alongside expert professional advice. We also stock a wide range of small animals, birds and fish.

We also run Creative vivariums supplying top quality vivariums and snake racks to the public and the reptile trade throughout the U.K specialising in custom builds and shopfits.

All of our products are made from the Best Grade of MFC available in the trade. Years of experience with keeping reptiles and building vivariums means we will get the right product to you. Designed and built by a Degree Qualified Engineer and a crew of dedicated staff, we can cope with complicated designs and huge shop fits.

• Our vivariums are ready built (unless you ask otherwise*)
• Built using the finest 18mm MFC board
• Solid 18mm backs.
• Sealed using aquarium grade sealant.
• Secret fixed (No ugly screws, blocks, screw caps or other type of visible fixing device is used inside or outside our vivariums) Giving a clean professional finish.
• All our vivariums will arrive with 4mm toughened safety glass for the sliding doors which conform to current British Standards.
• Ten colours to choose from, more colours available on request
• Large 76mm diameter vents with 2500mm2 free air flow per vent.
• Door Handles supplied.
• We edge the back sides of our vivariums (no exposed chip board)
• Custom sized and or coloured vivariums priced and built on request.
• Eco friendly the MFC boards we use have very low formaldehyde content and have large percentage of recycled wood content. The virgin wood used in the boards comes from sustainable and replanted sources.
• 95% (by weight) of our waste is recycled.
• It is widely believed that MFC vivariums are often better for your reptile than glass as they make the reptile feel more secure, the reptile can hide with no glass. Also minimises the risk of nose rubbing.
• MFC vivariums are better insulated than glass therefore need less energy to heat them.
• MFC vivariums are easy to adapt i.e. fitting lights, ceramics and fitting guards etc.
