Great venue, seen many events over the years..typically comedy shows or musical performances like opera or classical renditions. Acoustics are pretty good in the place, and it's easy to get about ad find your seats or bars. They even do a 'scan a QR code' and they will bring drinks and snacks to your seat.
Been lucky enough to visit the City Hall on numerous occasions mostly for live music events. Every time the venue has been great with no issues at all. Like how the staff let you leave the venue in between bands to let you visit some of the local pubs. Most recently visited to see Shed Seven who were brilliant.
We had a brilliant night here last night seeing Billy.really nice venue and chilled feel, only downside is the toilets being below ground level is as bad as wetherspoons
Went to see amazing Alex Horne and his band.Beautiful venue,staff very helpful,bar and snacks.
Went to see thd Blossoms and redrum club last night, fantastic concert nunfortunately the most uncomfortable 4 hours ever sat with my knees crushed up against the railings! this was on the circle area, definitely don't book this area unless Yr 4ft tall
